Fifty-nineth

Normal POV

"What the hell?" Xiumin groaned as he stood up from lying on the ground. He looked around and got confused, "Sand? Desert?"

Xiumin stood up and dusted himself. He then started to walk around but all he saw was sand and the burning sun.

"A little confused, are we?" A voice from behind asked. Xiumin immediately faced the man and alert himself.
"Woah. Calm down son." Taemin smiled.
"What's this place? What are we doing here?" Xiumin asked in gritted teeth.
"Obviously, we're in a desert and we're here to have a father-and-son talk." Taemin said.
"Talk?" Xiumin mocked a laugh. "About what?"
"About our family. I want you and Luhan to come back with us in Matoki." Taemin said.
"I won't go there with you and I doubt Luhan will agree to come with you too." Xiumin said.
"Son, don't make this hard for you." Taemin sighed.
"Same goes for you." Xiumin retorted.
"You want it this way? Alright, I'll bring you to Matoki by hook or by crook." Taemin said with authority in his voice like a real parent does.
"We'll see." After these words came out from Xiumin's mouth, he transformed into his wolf form and ran. Taemin on the other hand used his device (the one he used to control Minho's ability) to make his movement faster so he can catch up with the wolf.

While running, Xiumin looks around hoping to see an oasis, every desert has one.

Taemin pulled out his lasergun and shot Xiumin but the wolf has a great agility making it possible for him to dodge every shot. The wolf then turned hundred eighty degrees and ran towards the mato running around him, making the dust blur the mato's vision. When there's enough dust, Xiumin immediately ran away again.

"You think you can get away? I won't let it." Taemin said and the dust around him vanished.

Xiumin on the other hand was still busy looking for an oasis, he needs it for water to be able to create ice.

Xiumin thought he already ran a mile but the desert seems to be endless, there's still no oasis found and there's still no Taemin coming, which is good for him. Because of this, Xiumin decided to turn back in his human form and lie down on the ground. He closed his eyes due to the sun's brightness. He was regaining his strength when suddenly he felt something dropped on his cheek. Water. He immediately stood up and saw vultures flying in the sky.

"Oh. Vultures." Then suddenly as if a lightbulb appeared above Xiumin's head, he turned back to his wolf form and ran towards the opposite direction where he saw the vulture was going. He already made a plan.

After some time of running, Xiumin finally found a small oasis shining from a distance. The first thing he did when he arrived at the oasis was to drink as many as he can to fufill his needs. But when he's about to get some for battle purposes, the water vanished- more like vaporized.

Xiumin lifted his head to look at his front where Taemin is standing, pointing the laser gun at him.

"Hey there, dad." Xiumin said sarcastically.
"Son, just give up." Only Taemin said.
"No. I won't give up in this fight, I will get the hell out of here and save my alpha." Xiumin said in full determination.
"We'll see about that." Taemin said and pulled the trigger.

Xiumin was about to run but there's something that stopping him from doing it so he bent his body to dodge. He tried to move his feet but he can't, he's feeling heavy.

"The gravity's against you now too. Poor you." Taemin mocked.
"Yeah? I'm poor? Hah! Someone told me I'm not poor because I'm rich with his love." Xiumin muffled a laugh, remembering hearing Chen said that in the past.
"Forget about him son. That relationship of yours won't work." Taemin said.
"We are working. I know we are and we will. How about you? I bet you don't have the chance anymore to make things work with your husband." Xiumin smirked.
"Shut up! He's your dad." Taemin fumed.
"Oh? Right. He's my dad and I killed him." Xiumin mocked and laughed but stopped when he felt a punch straight on his face.
"You need to be disciplined." Taemin then slapped Xiumin.

The next thing Xiumin new was he's being punched continuously and he can't move his feet to dodge. But not until Xiumin grabbed Taemin's left arm and bit the device on it. The latter immediately backed off a distance.

"Oooh. Moving my legs freely feels good." Xiumin said while moving his legs. He then spit some blood on the ground.
"You've became a real dog now huh?" Taemin squinted his eyes at his son.
"I'm a wolf." Xiumin said proudly.

Taemin pushed another button on the device, since it's still working, and he lifted from the ground. He pushed another button and his laser gun seemed to be upgraded, it grew larger. Without a word, Taemin shot Xiumin and the latter dodged. Xiumin ran around the oasis ground dodging all of Taemin's lasers.

Getting impatient, Taemin put the laser in it's extreme form and shot Xiumin. It created a massive dust covering the whole oasis below. Taemin's eyes grew wider as the dust fade out and reavealed a boulder-like ice shielding Xiumin.

"What the- you planned this from the start?!" Taemin irritatedly said.
"Uh-huh. Kinda." Xiumin said.

Yes, Xiumin kinda planned it out from the start. First, he needs to lure the mato in an oasis. Second, he needs to wreck his device for gravity. Then, he ran around while Taemin was shooting him for the oasis floor be dug and secrete water from underground and he can make ice again.

"Pretty cool, huh?" Xiumin smirked.

Xiumin punched the ice and it burst out. The ice debris formed into a small snow ball. Taemin arched an eyebrow at his son when the little snow ball hit his laser gun.

"Are you kidding me? You used up all that ice to make a small snowball and threw at me. It didn't even hurt a little!" Taemin shouted.
"Well, it's not for you..."
"What are you tal- what the!" Taemin immediately let go of the laser gun when he saw ice slowly covering it.
"Yeah, it's for your laser gun to be useless." Xiumin continued his words.

Xiumin was going to control the now iced laser gun but the surroundings changed. There's nothing. It's just a black space.

"I didn't want to use the dimensions with you but you forced me to do it." Taemin said while puching something on his device and a new laser gun appeared. "Now, you have nowhere to go."
"You think? I didn't want to do this to you too but you left me no choice. Do you know what ice is made of? It's any fluid. And our body is composed of fluid." Before Taemin could make a move, his body was already struck by ice made by his own blood.
"I'm sorry dad." Xiumin said as a single tear escaped his eye.
