Twenty-eighth

Normal POV

The two Matos charged toward Chanyeol but he made Baekhyun's safety the first priority. He dodged the attacks, threw the sofa at them and pulled Baekhyun upstairs.

"There's my room!" Baek pointed out.

Then they entered the room. Chanyeol hid Baek inside the wardrobe.

"Stay here." Chanyeol said.
"Channie, why do we still have to fight? We can just run away." Baek said.
"We can't, jagi. They might trace our tracks if we do." Then he kissed Baek's forehead. "I love you. Wait for me." Then Chanyeol closed the door.
"Why? Why did this have to happen?" Baek cried silently.

"Where's Baekhyun?" Taeyeon asked Chanyeol as their path crossed. Good thing the their battlefield is a mansion, big enough for hide and seek.
"In my heart." Chanyeol mocked.
"Kill him!" Taeyeon shouted.

The two matos attacked Chanyeol again. The alpha just dodge and dodge and when he got the opportunity he jumped and threw fire balls at the matos but they're not burned.

"Hah! Do you think you can defeat us with that? You know we have the greatest technology, our armor are fire proof." Taeyeon said. "Now finish him off! I'll find MY Baekhyun."
"Shut up! Baekhyun's mine!" Chanyeol shouted befpre Taeyeon is out of his sight.

I have to get Baekhyun immediately. Chanyeol thought.

Meanwhile~

The door of Baekhyun's room opened. Is that Chanyeol? Baek asked himself. He peeked outside to see if it's Chanyeol but he saw nothing.

"Then who's-"
"Baekhyun. Baekhyun. Baekhyun. Come out now. You know you can't hide from me." Taeyeon said.

Baekhyun shivered. He don't want to be away from his lover. Where are you Chanyeol?

"Hide and seek eh? Fine. Let's play." Taeyeon held her laser gun and shoot the bed. Baekhyun covered his ears, he can't be found. "Oh, not here?"

She shoot the Bathroom door. No Baekhyun. She shoot the study table. No Baekhyun. She shoot the book shelf. No Baekhyun. "The last one." Taeyeon said as she aim at the cabinet. Then in a blast, an unconcious Baekhyun rolled on the floor.

"Finally." Taeyeon smirked.

Bruises and blood stains covered Chanyeol's body. He's no match for the matos at this time. He's getting weaker and half of his mind is wandering about Baekhyun. All he can do is to punch and kick because his flames are useless this time.

"Oooh. Poor Chanyeol, look what I have." Chanyeol flinched before he slowly looked at Taeyeon. His eyes widened when he saw Baekhyun unconciously floating before Taeyeon.

"I told you Flame phoenix, you won't get Baekhyun away from me." Taeyeon said.

Baekhyun's eyes slowly opened and he saw Taeyeon smiling evilly and when he traced where she's looking at, he broke in tears.

"Channie!" He shouted.
"B-Baek." Chanyeol said weakly.
"What a dramatic scene." Taeyeon rolled his eyes in irritation.
"Let me go!" Baekhyun shouted as move to stop himself from floating.
"Let him go!" Chanyeol threw a fireball at Taeyeon.
"Hah! I've told you, it's useless Flame phoenix. You can't burn me." Taeyeon said.
"I'm not aiming at you, btch." Chanyeol said smirking a little.

Then Taeyeon saw her device is burning, it's a device for Baekhyun to float. Now Baekhyun's free. He ran to Chanyeol and hugged him.

"Hang on Channie!" Baekhyun cried.

Chanyeol did his best to burn a curtain and throw it at the three matos. Then Baekhyun support him to walk. Baek lead him under the stairs to hide.

"I'm glad your safe, jagi." The alpha carressed his mate's cheek.
"Shh. I'm sorry I'm useless Channie." Baek said.
"You're not." Chanyeol then closed his eyes. His body's weak
and tired.
"Please hold on Channie. We'll get out of here. Trust me." The latter soothe him and he nodded.
"I love you." Then Baekhyun kissed Chanyeol on the lips and Chanyeol kissed back.
"I love you more jagi." Chanyeol opened his eyes.
"Chanyeol! You're eyes are glowing!" Baek exclaimed.
"All thanks to you." Then the giant winked.

The alpha stood up and smiled. "It's only starting." He said.

He covered himself in flames. His aura's stronger than before.

"Baekkie." Chanyeol called out in worry. Baekhyun shook his head, he knows what his lover is worried about. "Just do what is right Channie." Then the yoda nodded.
"There you are!" They heard Taeyeon's voice.
"Shut up! Let's end this." Chanyeol said then attacked the matos.
"I told you your flames are- WHAT?!" The matos are shock of Chanyeol killed one of them in one move.
"Shut up." Chanyeol's cold, deep voice said.

Then Chanyeol charge to the other soldier and punched him, his fist through its stomach.

"Now you're the only one left." He said glaring at Taeyeon.
"I won't loose to you!" She shouted.

Taeyeon aimed her gun at Chanyeol and shoot him but Chanyeol's flames are just absorbing it. He walk nearer and nearer to Taeyeon until he's choking her.

"You've lost to me since MY Baekhyun loved me." Chayeol said glancing at Baekhyun who's just looking down at the floor. "Now it's your good bye." And with all of his force, he tightened his grip on Taeyeon's neck that killed her.

"I'm sorry." Chanyeol broke the ice. Baek's been silent since it happened. They're now riding on the bus back to SM University. Kai's gonna pick them up there.
"Huh? For what?" Baek asked.
"Because you have to see me like that and because I... I killed the family that's been taking care of you since you were young." The giant apologise.
"It's ok Channie. It's the right thing to do, right? Now, we have to get back to treat your wounds." Baek said wanting to change the topic.

Chanyeol hugged Baekhyun, "It's ok to cry jagi." Then he heard Baekhyun's sobs on his chest.
