Thirty-nineth

Normal POV

Three matos attacked Sehun but the maknae slashed them by his sharp wind. Another three at Chanyeol but he burned them, good thing these matos aren't wearing the same armor as Taeyeon's underlings.

"Who'll take their leader?" Sehun asked.
"Give him to me." Chanyeol said.
"Then burn him to death." Sehun smirked and Park smirked back.

Sehun flew some Matos away but he knows they'll be back soon. How he wishes he can use his ultimate ability this time.

"Darn." He cussed.

He run into the forest part of the place. He sliced up trees and some Matos are crushed underneath. He smirked again kmowing his enemy is lessened. (I'm gonna die of that smirk.) He stopped at the middle of that mini forest and concentrated the wind around him. He swirl it up to the sky with the crushed trees and the Matos. Inside the mini tornado, the large trees and Matos bump to each other making the smaller of them get crushed because of the great impact. Blood and smoke are visible in the tornado with those wolf eyes.

Meanwhile Chanyeol is having trouble burning the captain of the rabbits. His armor is fire proof. Chanyeol can only do scratches on it.

"I didn't know you are this weak." The rabbit mocked and the wolf rolled his eyes in annoyance.
"Shut up rabbit. Don't forget that rabbits are wolf's food." Chanyeol stuck his tongue out and the rabbit groaned in anger.

They heard shouts and there's a tornado in the forest. Way to go Sehun! Chanyel thought.

"Tch. Those stupid soldiers!" The rabbit murmured but Chanyeol heard it.
"You're a soldier too right? Then you're also stupid." Chanyeol laughed.
"How dare you?!"
"I'm dared." Chanyeol grinned then ran into the woods, the captain followed him. (How stupid of him.)

Meanwhile at the basement.

"Hey." Baek suddenly said.
"Yeah?" The other asked.
"Did you move? Or walk? Or stomped your foot?" Baek asked again and the others answered no.
"Sht." Baek cursed under his breathe.

He remembered he didn't close the pathway to underground training rooms.

"Guys, listen, promise me you won't panic. But I heard footsteps, it's not Chanyeol's nor Sehun's, it's not their scent. It's... a Mato." Baek said in a low volume.
"OMO!"
"What're we gonna do?"
"Shh. I said don't panic. I've learned a thing or two from my training, just a little but can be somewhat helpful. Just be silent guys. Let them or him or her think that I'm only one here." Baek said and the others nodded.

Baek removed the light from his finger, darkness filled the room and his eyes glowed dark red. He's ready to battle. Then he saw someone entered the room.

"Ohh. I can see you're ready with that eyes. You think you think you can lure me with this darkness?" A male voice asked but Baekhyun didn't respond. He's afraid his voice will fail him and the latter will know he's kinda afraid.

"So you're a silent type?" The other asked again.

Lay, Tao, Xiumin and Luhan are amost holding their breathes listening to everything since they can't see anything but black.

"I can sense you're a weak one." The Mato said and Baekhyun tensed.

He started to run around to confuse him but he's shock when he saw him coping up with his pace. The Mato swayed his arm to hit Baekhyun but Baekhyun blocked his attack and return a kick but the Mato is fast already at his back and kicked him.

"Don't underestimate me. I'm the Vice captain of this squad." The Mato laughed evilly.

Baek stood up and charged but the Mato is really fast maybe it's his specialty. The Mato punched his stomach.

"Oops! Forgot to tell you, I'm wearing a special glasses to see you in darkness. It's specialized for wolves like you." The Mato smirked.

Baek's relieved, the Mato said it's only to see wolves means he still can't see the others. The Mato charged towards him this time, he blocked the kick but there's still impact so he fall backwards. The two are having this physical combat, Baekhyun only dodging as he knows the rabbit is wearing an armor and he's not strong enough to hurt him with only punches and kicks.

The physical combat continues and Baek's body is getting weaker as he's getting tired add to his bruises and scratches. He breathed heavily, his eyes widened when the Mato aimed a laser light at him. He fired and then there's silence, no trace of Baek's red eyes.

"Sehun! The rabbit is fire proof!" Chanyeol said but Sehun's confused of why his hyung is still laughing. The tornado is gone now. Dead Matos are all over the place.

"Are you crazy? Why are you laughing?" Sehun asked.
"I don't know." Chanyeol said and calmed himself down to stop from laughing.
"So back to the topic the rabbit is- speaking of the ugly rabbit. Hey." Sehun said as the captain arrived.
"Damn you." The Mato cursed.
"You too." Sehun said.
"Sehun! He's fire proof." Chanyeol repeated.
"I'm so happy we're paired in this battle. Are you thinking what I'm thinking hyung?" Sehun said.
"Oh! Right. Yes, I do." Chanyeol smirked.
"Shut your mouths dogs!" The rabbit shouted.
"We're wolves idiot." Chanyeol said.
"I know! I'm mocking you!" The Mato exclaimed irritated.
"You are?" Sehun asked innocently.
"Let's stop this talk. I wanna get you burn now." Chanyeol said.
"Hah! As if you can." The Mato mocked.
"Is he mocking us again hyung?" Sehun whisphered then laughed.

Chanyeol tapped Sehun's head before charging towards the Mato. He blew fire on him but it didn't work.

"I got it." Sehun said and sat on the ground, Chanyeol nodded.

He attacked and attacked with flames or physical attack but is useless because of the armor.

"You're useless dog!" The Mato laughed.
"You think so?" Chanyeol smirked.

He stand in front of the captain and made a fireball. He threw it to him, the Mato didn't budge still smirking knowing that it won't affect him until Chanyeol said, "Now Sehun." Then Sehun appared in front of Chanyeol and blew an amount of wind that made the fire grew larger. The flame ate the Captain rabbit while Sehun's sharp winds hit him.

"We're done here." Then the ChanHun did a high five.

What happened? Is Baekhyun ok? The mates thought when silence occured.

"Aw. Dead already?" The Mato mocked.
"Dead? In your dreams idiot." Baek finally spoke.

He opened his eyes. It's glowing again. He's been recharged. Laser is also a type of light and it's Baekhyun. Baekhyun is light. He absorbed it.

Baekhyun charged again, he put all of his energy in his feet and run faster. He punched the Mato's "specialized" eyeglasses.

"Argh! You think this will prevent me from seeing your moves?" The Mato laughed evilly but stopped when Baek answered, "Nope." popping the 'p'. This annoyed the rabbit and he charged, he knows he still can read Baek's movements because his eyes is glowing in red but he stopped. He's confused, there are too many red lights. Is my opponent moving fast? The Mato thought.

Baek's trick is easy. They're in his and Chanyeol's training room means his training gadget (the red light he hits to absorb light) is there. He used it as a replica of his eyes, since he knew that the Mato's now fighting him based on his glowing eyes, to make his opponent think that he's moving fast.

He grabbed the opportunity (while the Mato is confused) to strike him with his light. Then and there the Mato turned into ashes as he get burned by the light.

"I'm not a student council president for nothing." Baek said.

The room lit up. Baekhyun smiled shyly at his friends looking at him with wide eyes and dropped jaw.

"Did I became really ugly with these bruises?" Baekhyun frowned.
