Fiftieth

Normal POV

They all go back to EXO Planet as they saw how Suho's condition changed. This only meant that the two maknae's premonition is correct. But they still don't know what's Lay's ability.

"Welcome back my sons!" Mikun hugged Suho and Lay.

"Thank you eomma." Suho said.

"I'm glad you found a way to cure it." Mikun started to tear up.

Then, they heard fake coughs from the two maknae.

"Oh! Right. It's thanks to these two maknae." Suho smiled proudly and SeKai smiled contented only to get hit by their mates. They all laughed happily.

That night, a feast in Suho's pack was held. Everyone's rejoicing under the two moons. The alphas with their mates are just sitting on the main table and talking.

"So I did what I was told but I hit at the wrong direction." Baekhyun laughed enthusiastically at his story.

"Yeah that I still can feel the numbness on my butt cheek where you strike your light." Chanyeol half whined half laughed.

"I'll just get water." Lay tapped Suho's shoulder and stood up.

Lay walk to the buffet table and get a glass of water. He's walking back to their place when he tripped on something and drop the glass making it break into pieces.

"Lay! Are you ok?" Suho run to him.

"I'm fine. Sorry for messing here." Lay started to pick up some shards but he's pricked. "Ow~" He whined silently.

"OMO. Lay you should've just call the maids." Suho said.

"It's not that deep Suho." Lay chuckled.

"But it still hurts! And it's bleeding like hell! Aish. Don't pick up sha-" Suho was cutted off when he saw Lay's finger healed.

"Huh?" The SuLay reacted.

Their eyes met both reflecting in confusion. Lay pricked himself again but this time, intentionally. Suho was going to protest but he saw his mate concentrating on the wound and it slowy heals.

"Lay." Suho called out.

"Yeah."

"Your ability is healing." And both of their lips stretched in a wide smile.

The two of them excitedly returned to their table and gave their friends the news.

"We already found out what's Lay's ability!" Suho said now all eyes are at him. "It's healing." He added.

"Woah!~ that's amazing! It'll be a great help." Chanyeol was the first to react. (Reaction King!)

"Channie's right! I'm happy for you Lay hyung!" Baekhyun beamed.

"Yes! No more licking each other!" Kyungsoo cheered.

"Oh man~" Kai whined.

They laughed then continued their businesses with happiness.

Everything's going on very well. They're still training while enjoying each other's time. Suho decided to make a part of his palace a hospital-like one for the creatures to be healed since some of them haven't recovered yet.

One night, they decided to sleep over at KaiSoo's place. They're playing happily when they heard a woman's cry. Tao immediately jumped in Kris' arms.

"It's a ghost!" The panda exclaimed and buried his head on Kris' neck.

"Shh~ panda it's not a ghost. It's..."

"Sht! It's eomma!" And with that loud voice of Chanyeol they transformed into wolf form and run to the tree of life.

They saw Mikun's body glowing with the tree of life.

"Eomma! What happened here?!" Kai asked.

"It's gonna be over. The river of hope is in its worst. It's poisoning the tree of life." Mikun cried.

They gasped. They didn't know it will came to this this fast. They still haven't found a cure yet.

"I'll try." Lay suddenly said.

"Huh?" Suho asked.

"I'll try healing the river of hope." Lay walked to the side of the river and he was about to dip his hands when Mikun shouted, "Stop! You die if you're touched by the water!" But Lay didn't care, he's somewhat confident.

"No! Lay!" Suho shouted but Lay didn't mind him also, he just gave him an assuring smile and dipped his hand in the water.

Suho almost lost it when the water ate Lay and Mikun started to vanished while the leaves on the tree of life fall every millisecond. Everyone started to cry. Suho's going to dive into the water but Kris made him float to stop him.

"Don't do something stupid." Kris said while tears are still falling from his eyes.

Suho stuggled but it's no use. They all stopped when they saw the last leaf fell but the tree shone brightly that they all closed their eyes. When they opened it again, they saw the tree of life blooming with golds and diamonds again, Mikun's solid again and the river's clear again.

They grouped hug still crying in happiness. Suho looked around with confusion. "Where's Lay?" He asked. They latters looked at him and started to also look around.

"Oh no." Mikun clasped her hand on her mouth. "Lay was the sacrifice." She added.

Suho broke down again in tears. Kyungsoo hugged Kai because he's also crying hard, Lay's his brother too.

"Why am I not dead?" Suho asked between his sobs.

"It's because Lay didn't die. He just became a sacrifice, he's now a part of the planet." Mikun explained.

Two days had passed and Suho's still not going back to his pack. He stayed at the bank of the river of hope thinking that maybe even Lay's spirit will show up.

"Son, you haven't eaten for two days." Mikun said worriedly.

"I don't wanna eat. Lay's not eating anyway." Suho just answered.

Before Mikun could say something, Suho dived into the water and rest himself on its floor.

"Lay." He said. (He can talk and breathe underwater becausr if you say Suho, it's water. XD)

"I love you Suho." He remembered how Lay say this.

He smiled a bit at the memory. He remembered how Lay smiled at him everytime. He remembered that cute dimple of his lover. He remembered how Lay played instruments to give him nice music. Even underwater, he feels his tears flowing out of his eyes. He stayed longer there thinking about his mate. He really misses the unicorn. After hours have passed, he sighed deeply and decided to get out of the water. When he's finally sat on the bank. His eyes widened of what happened next.
