"You're more like them than you know, Harry..."
"Now remember, these visits to Hogsmeade are a privilege. Should your behavior reflect poorly on the school in any way, that privilege shall not be extended again.", McGonagall lectured at the end of her Transfigurations class.
"As you're all in my House, you should hand Hogsmeade permission slip to me before Halloween. No form, no visiting the village, so don't forget!", she stated sternly.
"Ask her now!", Ron hissed at Harry. "Go for it, Harry!" He gave Harry a slight push as he walked up to Professor McGonagall.
Y/N, Hermione and Ron were waiting to see if Harry could get his permission slip signed by McGonagall. Harry came back with a look of disappointment on his face.
"Did it work!?", Ron asked impatiently.
Harry sighed in disappointment and shook his head. "Its okay, you guys go. I'll stay here."
"But Y/N is staying with you!", Ron immediately said.
Y/N gave Ron a 'what's wrong with you' look as Harry turned to look at her.
"You will?", He asked, looking slightly hopeful.
"Yes, she will." Ron eagerly answered for her, earning death glares from Y/N and Hermione. Hermione pinched his arm and he let out a groan. "OW!"
Ron ignored both Y/N and Hermione, in the hope that perhaps Harry and Y/N will reconcile when they're alone. "Well that's settled then. She's staying here with you!"
"Well.. I'm not staying on purpose!", Y/N said gloomily, and swore if she she could've hit Ron with a stick, she would have gladly done it.
*****
It was in the afternoon of Halloween day. All the students from 3rd to 7th year gathered at the entrance hall for their Hogsmeade trip. Filch was standing inside the front doors, checking off names against a long list, looking suspiciously into every face, and making sure no one was sneaking out who shouldn't be going.
"See you!", Ron and Hermione waved at Harry and Y/N..
"Have fun, you guys. And don't forget to bring me loads of chocolates from Honeydukes", Y/N beamed at both of them.
"I swear, Ronald, if you eat any of my chocolates, you'll not live to see the light of another day!", she threatened Ron, who looked terrified and chuckled nervously. Harry and Hermione let out an amused laugh.
Y/N loved chocolates or perhaps the word would be 'she was obsessed with them!' She always carried a few chocolate bars in her robes, just in case of 'emergency' Harry and Hermione even dared to point in out to her once:
"Why do you always carry chocolate bars around with you?", Harry asked in confusion, as Y/N pulled out a chocolate from her pockets and started unwrapping it.
"I don't know. Just in case of emergency, I guess.", she shrugged and took a bite from the chocolate.
"Who could possibly have a chocolate emergency?", Hermione narrowed her eyes at Y/N who was eating her chocolate with full concentration.
"What if my blood sugar goes down and I have a stroke, and you guys couldn't find the chocolate in time to save me?", she said in an obvious tone and stared at Hermione. Harry and Ron started snorting and giggling.. Hermione rolled her eyes...
"But do you have diabetes?", Hermione questioned with raised eyebrows.
"Nope. But WHAT IF I DID?"
