"Not bad" The girl said as she walked over and hit my shoulder
"Clarisse La Rue, don't call me cupcake and I won't kill you" Clarisse said
"I'll make sure to remember that" I said nervously
"I'm William Solace, but I prefer just being called Will" I said
"I'm Cecil Markowitz" Cecil said and Clarisse simply gave him a head nod of Acknowledgment
"How long have you two been traveling?" Hawthorn asked looking at Gleeson
"Awhile, We started in Arizona" Gleeson said
"That's pretty far from here, I'm glad you've made it this far" Hawthorn said
"No monster can defeat me" Gleeson said whit a wide grin
"Same confidence as always I see" Hawthorn said
"What's not to be confident about? I'm the best fighter there is" Gleeson said
"I think you mean second best" Clarisse said
"I have years more of training then you cupcake" Gleeson said
"And yet I can still match you in a fight" Clarisse said with a smug grin. gleenson gave her a small glare before looking back at Hawthorn
"How's the family?" Gleeson asked
"They're doing good, Thornberry just turned four two months ago" Hawthorn said with a wide smile
"She really that old already?" Gleeson asked
"Yeah, I can hardly believe it myself. Seems like yesterday when I held her as a newborn baby" Hawthorn said
"Time really does fly fast" Gleeson said
"It dose" Hawthorn said
"I take it you two know each other?" Clarisse said
"Oh, Hawthorn and I go way back. I'm even the one who pushed him to ask out his wife when he first met her, you should have seen how badly he was shaking" Gleeson said with a laugh
"I was not shaking" Hawthorn said his face getting a small pink tint to it.
"Say what you want" Gleeson said before looking at Me, Cecil and Clarisse
"He was shaking" Gleeson said under his breath with a smirk
"I was not!" Hawthorn said
"So how long have you been traveling?" Gleeson said changing the subject
"Since Texas" Hawthorn said
"That where you found these two?" Gleeson asked pointing and Cecil and me
"I found the first kid in Texas when his principal turned into a fully grown cyclops" Hawthorn said as he nodded to me
"A fully grown cyclops!? Man, I wish I had been there!" Gleeson said with a look of both excitement and disappointment
"I'm sure you do" Hawthorn said before nodding at Cecil
"The second kid We run into in Arkansas or more accurately he nearly ran into us when he crashed a bus trying to get away from a fury" Hawthorn said
"Sounds like you've had quite the journey" Gleeson said
"It's been trying, but when is our job not?" Hawthorn asked and Gleeson laughed a little
"So have you gotten them weapons just?" Gleeson asked
"Celestial bronze isn't exactly easy to come by in the mortal world" Hawthorn said
"It is if you know where to go" Gleeson said
"I'm not surprised you know a place" Hawthorn said
"Of course I do! follow me cupcakes we wouldn't want you to die from a monster attack without putting up a good fight" Gleeson said before walking off.
"We followed Gleeson as he walked as eventually, he stopped at a guns and archery pawn shop that looked like a large white metal shade with a green roof.
"A pawn shop?" Cecil asked
"Things aren't always what they seem cupcake" Gleeson said before walking in.
we all followed him in and on the inside, there were tons of glass display cases that had handguns and evermore racks to hold shotguns. on the walls were stuffed animal heads, most of them deer heads.
Gleeson walked up to the checkout area where an older man with a blue plaid shirt and jeans stood.
"Is Tony here?" Gleeson asked
"In the back" The man said as he nodded towards a door.
"Hey Tony! You got someone here asking for you!" The man yelled
"Who's asking for me?" A man asked as he walked out of the door.
the man had brown hair and eyes. he wore a leather cord necklace around his neck that had 10 clay beads of different colors on it and an orange t-shirt that was so faded I couldn't make out what had been on it but it almost looked like there was a house with wings on it. also, he had on a pair of light jeans with hunting boots and he looked to be in his late 20s or early 30s and he had the body of someone who worked out every day, for fun.
"Gleeson!? what brings you here?" Tony asked as he walked up to us
"You remember Hawthorn?" Gleeson asked
"Of course, How could I forget Laura's protector" Tony said as he gave Hawthorn a punch on the shoulder
"Wait, Tony as in Tony Johnson?" Hawthorn asked
"In the flash" Tony said
"I remember when first came to camp you were only what 8? 9? and you could barely hold a sword" Hawthorn said
"I was ten and that was 25 years ago" Tony said with a laugh
"Who are the kids?" Tony asked
"The girl is with me, I found her in Arizona and the two boys are with Hawthorn. we ran into each other as we came into Virginia and turns out the boys don't have anything to help them....hunt" Gleeson said
"Nothing?" Tony asked
"Nothing" Gleeson said
"Come with me" Tony said as he waved us to follow and walked back to the door he had walked out of.
"So Hawthorn who are you thinking?" Tony asked as he walked over to a bed and moved it aside
"7 for the blonde kid and 11 for the other" Hawthorn said
"He does look like a 7, it's actually kinda scary how much he looks like him" Tony said as he looked at me.
"Um.....Who are you talking about?" I asked
"Your dad or who he might be, I'm assuming it's your father you don't know" Tony said as he knelt down and hit a floor broad and it slid to the side to reveal stairs.
"Yeah, how did you know?" I asked
"Just a good guess" Tony said as he walked down the stairs followed by Gleeson and Hawthorn.
"I guess we go down" Cecil said
"I guess so" I said before Me, Cecil and Clarisse followed them down.
