"Hey, kid" Hawthorn said before he walked over and sat on the side of the bed.
"I.....you..." I said before I began to cry not being able to form a full sentence and Hawthorn just opened his arms up so I threw myself at him and hugged him. I had been scared when Clarisse was badly hard but with Hawthorn it was different because he was not just my friend but he was the closest thing I had ever had to a father figure and he took time to know and understand me.
"I'm glad your okay kid" Hawthorn said as he hugged me back and for a moment we just stayed like that until I was able to calm myself down.
"Try not to overwork yourself in the future, you gave us a pretty good scare when you didn't wake up" Hawthorn said as Cecil and Lou Ellen walked in and ran over. I noticed they were now wearing fresh clean clothes.
Cecil had on a camp t-shirt with jeans that had holes on the knees and Lou Ellen was wearing a camp t-shirt as well with a pair of dark blue shorts
"You are a horrible friend" Cecil said and Lou Ellen nodded in agreement
"I am?" I asked as I wiped my eyes
"Yeah, what kind of friend does something that gives you a heart attack?" Cecil asked
"And then you had to scare us half to death by not waking up for three day" Lou Ellen said then they both hugged me.
"So when can he leave the infirmary?" Hawthorn asked
"I can't wait to show you around camp" Cecil said
"Let's not get ahead of ourselves, he did just wake up after three days" The boy said
"But I'm fine" I said and Hawthorn laughed a little and ruffed my hair
"Your not the doctor right now so you need to listen to what he says" Hawthorn said
"But-" I started to say but Hawthorn cut me off
"You can't help anyone or do anything if you don't take care of yourself" Hawthorn said
"Fine" I said with a slight huff as I sat lend back on the bed then I looked over at the boy as I remembered something he had said.
"Did you call me little brother earlier?" I asked
"I guess I should explain that and interdune myself. My name is Lee Fletcher but you can just call me by my first name, I am a son of Apollo and the head counselor of cabin seven" LeeThe boy said
"How does that make me your little brother?" I asked
"Because Dad claimed you on Half-Blood hill while you were healing Hawthorn, that's what the glowing symbol above your head was" Lee said
"My Dad's Apollo?" I asked
"Yeah, and I'm a little jealous" Lee said
"Why, You just said that your his kid to" I said
"Yeah but I've never seen him and you, you had him show up and stop another god from killing you. While I was stuck here at the infirmary because someone had gotten hurt on the lava wall" Lee said
"That was my dad?" I asked completely shocked
"That was indeed the god Apollo" the man in the wheelchair said
"He's always been a bit of a showoff" the other man said
"Um...who are you?" I asked
"Will, this is Chiron trainer of heroes and camp's activities director" Hawthorn said gesturing to the man in the wheelchair. then he gestured to the other man
"And of course, you've heard of Dionysus the god of festivity, religious ecstasy, theater, grape harvest, and-" Hawthorn started to say but then he stop and looked at me like he wanted me to say the last part
"Wine?" I asked taking a guess since he was the god of grape harvest and wine came from grapes.
"Yes" Hawthron said
"We mostly just call him Mr.D" Lee said
"Why not call him by his name?" I asked
"Names give power kid" Mr. D said
"Is that a bad thing for a god?" I asked
"Hey, Conner and Travis rigged the volleyball field again" A Girl said as she poke her head in.
The girl had long honey blonde hair that was styled in princess curls and gray eyes. she wore a camp t-shirt and a necklace with four clay beads on it. she also wore a pair of brown shorts and black sneakers. she looked like she was a year or two older than me and she had a slender but athletic body build and tan skin
"Great!" Mr.D yelled before storming out.
"I best make sure he doesn't kill anyone" Chiron said before he walked out and the sad part was I couldn't tell if he was joking or not.
"Glad to see your ok" The Girl said
"Thanks" I said
"I'm Annabeth Chase" Annabeth said
"William Solace but I prefer just going by Will" I said
"It's nice to meet you, I'm going to head back to make sure they don't need any help but I'll see you around" Annabeth said before walking away.
"If you ever need to know anything, that's the person I'd talk to, unless it a question about our cabin then you can always come to me" Lee said
"Dose she know a lot?" I asked
"Annabeth is a daughter of Athena the goddess of strategy, warfare, crafts, reason, and wisdom she's also so been here four years and she's a year rounder" Lee said
"What's a year rounder?" I asked
"Someone who lives at camp throughout the year instead of just the summer" Lee said
"She lives at camp all the time? Does she not have a family?" I asked
"Sometimes it's safer for your family if you stay at camp" Lee said .
