But before I know it, Jinx faints. He starts falling towards me and we both fall together, with him on top of me.
"Ow!" I say as we both hit the ground. I can't move, he's too heavy... "J-Jinx, are you ok..?! Wake up! You're too heavy..." I say out loud. But it's no use, he's not waking up. I try to lift him off of me so I can actually breathe, but I can't.. It hurts.. "Ow.. I can't get you off.." I say as I keep trying to lift him. Then I remember Aldinach is there. Maybe he can help..
"A-Aldinach, are you there..? Please pick him up..!" I plead. I hear him walk up to us. "Ah yes, sorry. I forgot demons are way heavier than humans." Aldinach says as he lifts him off of me. "I really couldn't breathe..." I say as I look up at him. Aldinach reaches his hand out towards me. "Here." He says. "Ah, thank you.." I say as I grab his hand. He lifts me up onto my feet.
"What's gonna happen to Jinx though..?" I ask. Aldinach carries him on his back like it's nothing. "It's not going to kill him, we'll just wait until he wakes up. Which shouldn't be long." He answers. We start walking to an area where we can rest. "I've never seen him in such a vulnerable state before... It worries me.." I say concerned as I look at Jinx's limp body on Aldinach's back. "Eh, he's always been this way. Just takes it way too far. But he'll be fine." He replies.
It feels nice to hear Aldinach talk about Jinx, I wanna know more about them in the past. We find a large tree to rest under. Aldinach lays Jinx on the ground and we both lean our backs against the tree. "Let's wait here until he wakes up." He suggests. I nod as I sit close to him. "So did you and Jinx always do dangerous things in the past?" I ask. He smiles lightly. "Hell yes, we'd be mischievous kids. Running around where we aren't supposed to, picking fights with demons way stronger than us. It was pretty fun to be honest." Aldinach answers with a chuckle. I smile as I hear him talk about it.
"We'd get close to death a lot though. Sometimes they would spare us since Jinx was the son of the king of fire in the past, but other times we had to run for our lives. They didn't care. But still, it would be good training for the both of us!" He laughs. "That sounds like good memories, most of them heh.. but I'm glad you guys are close friends." I say with a smile. I look at Jinx sadly, hoping he wakes up soon.
I reach in my pocket and feel a mini towel. I should put some cold water on it and give it to Jinx to cool him off. I look around and see a little lake. I slowly get up to go to the lake. Aldinach looks over at me. "Oi, where you going?" He asks. "Ah, I'm just getting some water from that lake." I say. I reach the lake and dip the towel in it, then ring it out. I walk back towards Jinx and I carefully put it on his forehead. "I hope this helps him cool off.." I say.
I go back to the tree and I sit closely to Aldinach. I start feeling a bit sleepy.. I lean on him and he looks at me confused. I close my eyes. "I'll just rest until he wakes up..." I say. I feel Aldinach pull me in closely and I fall asleep.

FantasyI drew the cover btw~ ☺️ I decided to make a book on my demon, his name is Jinx Adramelech. I drew out stories of him over the years, and I chose to now make it into a little book. I'll include some of my drawings throughout the chapters
