Of course it snows heavily the day I volunteered to go in my day off. And here I am, walking in the blizzard to get to STARS. It wouldn't of been too bad if my vehicle started. But, with my luck, it decided not to turn over. And here I am, freezing my ass off all because Wesker and Marini needed someone to come in and finish off the paper work. A sigh escaped my lips as a gust of wind and snow blew in my face.

It only took me 20 minutes to walk to the RPD from my apartment. The moment I stepped inside a wave of warmth consumed my body, causing a smile to form on my face.

"Oh, hey (Y/n), came in today too?"

I smiled at her and brushed my feet on the rug. "Hey Rebecca, yeah I did. Better than just being lazy all day at home."

She gave me a slight smile as we walked towards the STARS headquarters. "Some of the Bravo team came in today as well. As from your team, it's just you and Chris."

I gave her a nod. "Who's all in from Bravo?"

"Myself, Kenneth and I believe it was Forest that came in or maybe it was Richard."

Of course it had to be Richard that came in. The only guy here that can make me all flustered and shy.

"You okay (Y/n)?"

"Oh y-yeah. Umm just cold is all."

She let out a laugh. "I know it's because of Richard, you don't have to lie."

"I don't know what you're talking about. Here, let me grab the door for you."

Before she could say anything, I quickly opened the STARS door and let her go in. The moment I was at my desk, I took off my jacket. The moment it was off, an arm was wrapped around my shoulder.

"There she is! I knew you wouldn't let me be the only one from Alpha to come in."

I let out a chuckle. "Yeah because I knew you'd mess it all up and I'd have to re do all of your paper work."

Timeskip

Chris went out to go grab everyone lunch and I took that as my opportunity to head outside to go have a smoke. A sigh left my lips as I leaned against the wall, snow flakes falling down onto my body. Neither Forest or Richard came in today, I guess Rebecca was wrong.

"Hey (Y/n), I thought I'd see you out here."

I looked up from the snow. "Oh h-hey.. how's it going Richard?"

"The best it can on a day where you get called in. But hey, you're here so everything will be better now." He grinned out, causing me to blush.

"T-thanks. I-" I quickly looked away. "I'm glad you're h-here too." With what I said, his smile just grew. I quickly outed my cigarette. "We should probably head in. My fingers are getting cold."

He gave me another one of his adorable smiles as he opened the door. "Ladies go first, especially beautiful ones."

Once again a blush formed on my face. "T-thanks Richard..I uh have to go help Chris bring everything in."

I quickly headed towards the front of the RPD building before he could say anything. Whenever he is around me, I become shy and flustered. And of course whenever we talk, I make a fool of myself. Gosh, I'm such an idiot, why did I run away?

Timeskip

Richard watched as (Y/n) quickly ran away from him. With her doing that, it just made him even more confused. With a shake of his head he returned to the STARS room. As he walked in Kenneth and Rebecca snapped their heads up.
