(Y/N)'s Pov

I walked down the sidewalk, walking with my brother towards the bar. I wore my usual attire. I had on my black tank top, ripped jean shorts instead of my skinny jeans, and my red flannel. Obviously it  was left open. Somehow, Chris had convinced me to go out to a BSAA party type thing. I guess it wasn't that hard to convince me as we were celebrating his promotion on being captain. But still, Chris and I could of had our celebration at home instead of him dragging me out to be around people I don't know or don't necessarily like.

"So, not to sound rude but, how long do I have to stay?"

Chris let out a laugh. "At least a little while. You're always cooped up in your apartment, it's going to be good for you to socialize."

I groaned but nodded, following him inside the bar that reeked of booze and sweat. "Just remember, I'm only doing this to show you my support with you becoming captain."

Surprisingly the music was quite. But all the BSAA members talking made it loud in here. I noticed a few people that I knew and a few people that I had no idea who they were. Slowly, I felt my anxiety rise. Sure, I knew people were going to be here but after stepping in, I couldn't help but feel nervous. The things I do for my brother.

"I'll be right back (Y/n)."

Of course he's ditching me.

After I gave him a nod, he parted ways with me. I quickly headed over to the bar, going to the least crowded side, taking a seat. It didn't take long for the bartender to make her way over to me. With a quick conversation, I ordered a rum and coke. After she placed my drink down in front of me, I pulled out my phone and pretended to be using it. Just hoping that this night would pass by fast.

Timeskip

I sat at my corner for about an hour, only having two  drinks in total. I decided to look around the bar, seeing if I could see Chris. I scanned the area until my eyes landed on 3 familiar guys and one guy who was with them that I didn't know. I gulped as I saw some of my brothers co workers that usually tried to hit on me any chance they could get. I quickly finished my drink and stood up, trying to leave the bar before they saw me.

I sighed and kept my head down, passing by people until I found the door. I slipped out and took a seat on the curb, pulling out a cigarette and placing it in my mouth. I lit it and blew out a cloud of smoke, looking up at the stars in the sky. I was surprised that I could see them as usually in the city you couldn't see them unless you were somewhere high in the sky, like a skyscraper or on the top of a hotel roof.

"I see bars still aren't your thing."

That voice caused me to look like a deer in head lights. I raised an eyebrow and looked up at the mystery person, my mouth dropping slightly. Not expecting him to be here.

"Leon?"

He nodded and took a seat next to me, taking the cigarette from me and put it out on the curb. "Thought you said you were going to quit?"

I shrugged. "Well after everything that happened, I couldn't just quit. I didn't see the point."

He nodded and stared up at the stars. I tried to push the urge to hug him away. But if he was here, talking to me, then did he not hate me like I thought? I shrugged and the urge came back, this time I acted on it. I lunged at him and tackled him in a hug, knocking us both down on the cement. He chuckled and wrapped his arms around my waist, hugging me tightly.

"Damn, must of missed me a lot, huh?"

I nodded and pulled away sheepishly, sitting back up. "Yeah I guess I did. How couldn't I? You mean a lot to me you know."

He sat back up as well, sitting cross legged as he blew out a cloud of smoke. "Well I missed you too (nickname)... we all do actually."

I looked at him and raised an eyebrow. "Oh? I didn't talk to many people when I worked at DSO? I thought you guys hated me-"

Leon wrapped his arm around my shoulder, pulling me closer to his body. I rested my head against his shoulder and wrapped my arm around his waist.

"No, we could never hate you. What (Friends Name) did was his choosing, not yours. You defended us from him. We can't hate you, you're like family... Every one still loves you and miss seeing you around."

I nodded, a smile broke out on my face. "That's good to hear, you guys mean a lot to me too."

Leon nodded and held me closer as I shivered. "I missed you the most though. You didn't call, you didn't visit. I haven't heard from you in about two years (nickname). When Chris called me, tonight, that the first time I've heard that you were okay after you left. And if I'm being honest, that hurt.  Especially with what we had going on back then."

I sighed and looked down at the ground. "I'm sorry Leon... I didn't know what to do. (Friends Name) said if I chose to stay with the DSO, then he would blame everything he did on me. I didn't know what to do." I looked up at him, a slight smile on my face. "And hey, you didn't contact me either, even with what we have."

We both let out a chuckle and sat there, arms around each other sitting on the curb, outside the bar at 11:30 pm. I smiled as his scent filled my nostrils. Oh, a scent I never knew I missed so much until now. How much I missed being held in his arms, sharing kisses here and there, just being around him almost day. I guess I really did miss him, way more than I noticed.
