I laid next to Piers on my bed. A smile on my face as he held me close to him. My face buried into his neck as he played with my hair, placing kisses on my head occasionally. We laid in a comfortable silence, the occasional crack of thunder in the background.

"How are we going to tell Chris?" I softly let out.

Piers let out an awkward chuckle. "I never thought of that before I asked you out if I'm going to be completely honest."

I let out a small laugh and looked up at him, pecking his cheek.

"We could always stop down at the base tomorrow and tell him? He shouldn't be too upset... hopefully."

Piers nodded. "And what if he is upset?"

"If that does happen then he'll only be upset for a little while. But Piers? Don't worry too much about it. But, for now we should get some rest."

Timeskip

Piers and I walked into the BSAA base, a smile on my face where as he looked terrified. I gently rubbed my hand on his back to calm him down.

"Everything will be okay baby, just breath."

Piers nodded and shot me a smile. "I'll try."

"Ah Ms.Redfield, it's always a pleasure when you come by for a visit."

I smiled and waved. "Hey (Random Name), do you know where we could find Chris?"

He nodded. "He should be down in his office."

"Thank ya!"

With that, I grabbed Piers hand and started to rub circles in the back of it with my thumb. "Okay, I'm slightly nervous now too."

Piers chuckled. "And the one being strong has come to my level."

I smiled and nodded. "Well of course, I can't let you be nervous all by yourself now can I?... Oh look, we're here. Ready?"

He nodded and took a deep breath. I leaned up and pressed my lips on his. Telling him that Chris will be accepting. When he gave me a smile back, that's when I knocked on the door. A 'Come in' was what we got in return.

I slowly let go of Piers hand and opened the door, walking in with him behind me. "Hey Chris."

"Captain." Piers greeted.

"(Y/n) it's good to see you. It's been a long time... Piers, getting all rested up for our mission in a few days?"

Piers nodded. "Y-yes sir."

Chris raised an eyebrow at him. "Everything okay?"

I smiled at my brother. "Yes but we do need to tell you something. As you may already know, I've been hanging around Piers and Finn a lot lately."

Chris nodded. "Yes I have noticed. They've been you're only 2 friends since Jill."

"Captain, I'm uh. You know, dating your little sister." Piers quickly and awkwardly let out.

The room fell silent and I swallowed the lump in my throat. "We just started dating two days ago. You're the first one we wanted to tell and I hope you're okay with this."

"(Y/n) could I have a word with Piers alone? Finn is out in the yard."

I slowly nodded and gave Piers shoulder a squeeze to calm him down. I gave Chris the 'be nice and civil' look before I left to go find Finn.

Timeskip, Third Person Pov

The moment (Y/n) left the office, the room fell silent for a few minutes.

"Listen Captain-"

"Piers take a seat and take a breath." Piers slowly sat down on the chair.

"You don't need to worry. I've known that you guys have liked each other for awhile. And I'm thankful that you bring her happiness and she brings you happiness. But I need to tell you something."

"What is it Captain?"

Chris sighed and leaned back. "(Y/n) has ptsd from her previous boyfriend. Which happened to be Albert Wesker back when he was in Stars. She hasn't dated anyone since then and that's why I'm shocked that you two are dating. But I'm happy that she picked you instead of anyone else in this world. I trust you."

"I'm nothing like him, I would never do anything to harm her."

Chris smiled. "I know, no need to be so defensive Piers. I'm just letting you know because she probably did not tell you that.. I approve of your guys relationship. Even though you didn't need my approval. But please take good care of my sister."

Timeskip, (Y/n)'s Pov

I laughed at Finn and tossed him the ball we were throwing around.

"Here comes your brother and Piers." He pointed out.

I slowly turned around and saw the two of them walking towards us, smiles on their faces as they talked.

"I'm hoping the talk went well boys?"

Piers nodded and came up to hug to me, of course I instantly hugged back. "He's happy about us."

I smiled and looked up at him. "See? I told ya that everything would be okay." I quickly pecked his lips and looked at Chris, mouthing a 'thank you' to him.
