Kirby Headcanons (My AU)

~Headcanon #1~

Fears

KIRBY

Kirby is extremely afraid of the dark. Although he has fought in the dark before, there was always still some light present. 

After Meta Knight became good, he trained Kirby, and Meta Knight saw his hesitancy in learning how to fight because Kirby wasn't very fond of the 'beating people up so that they stop being evil' method.

So, the lone swordsman said to him, "Face your fears. Fear shouldn't make you cower, it should create a burning passion to try harder and overcome those fears."

Kirby kind of took this the wrong way, thinking that he shouldn't be afraid of anything whatsoever. He wasn't aware that Meta Knight was referring to his fear of fighting. So Kirby always tried to suck up his fear and be calm when it's dark, but he can't help but get scared...

Especially with all the dark matter he's faced.

Another thing he fears is caterpillars! One day he went to patch up things with Whispy Woods for the fifth time, and Whispy was grouchy but gave Kirby an apple to agree on the truce. When Kirby bit into it, a caterpillar peeked out and Kirby squealed and ran away immediately. 

Since then he's afraid of insects which are like caterpillars. E.g.: Centipedes, worms, etc.

META KNIGHT

Meta Knight obviously claims, "Haha me no scared of anythinggg-" but he is.

He's positively terrified of being alone again. After a major battle between the star warriors, he barely found any survivors and whoever did survive didn't show it. Meta Knight thought they were all dead, and as much as he hated it, he left, just about escaping the new demon beasts that were approaching him.

Sir Arthur and the other three remaining generals couldn't contact Meta Knight for his whereabouts because their ship was busted and they were on a planet that possessed very few resources. However, once their ship was up and running, they contacted Meta Knight straight away, but he didn't respond. 

He wasn't aware of the ship being broken, but he was hurt that they hadn't attempted to contact him earlier. Plus, Meta Knight was afraid that people who try to befriend him would be 'cursed' with death.

Meta Knight is also afraid of other people's views about his wings, which is why he didn't use them during Kirby's first years on Popstar.

He actually used to have feathers, really nice black ones, but after Nightmare experimented on him... he gained bat wings.

Meta Knight returned to the GSA very very worried he might have some mind-controlling mechanism installed in his head, but Nightmare was still humane. He would not tamper with brains. Maybe hypnosis but brains? Ew-

Meta Knight's eyes colours changed from gold to silver, and a side effect of whatever Nightmare did to him caused him to have colourful eyes!

(Hmph. At least HE doesn't need contacts...)

The entire GSA base Meta Knight was at grew very wary of him, which ticked off a lot of generals and Sir Arthur received multiple concerns about 'A potential demon beast training new recruits' or 'An experimented puff being a general'. Sir Arthur just kept shooing people away, telling them to 'Stop complaining everything is fine. You all just have dead conversations. Any opportunity for gossip is one you'll take.'

Meta Knight didn't show his wings when he came to Popstar. The Cappies were easily frightened and the king would probably think he would attack him...

However, the King soon changed for the better and kind of pried into Meta Knight's life a bit, saying that if the hero Galacta Knight had wings, why didn't Meta?

Meta Knight was kind of forced to show his bat wings, but Dedede accepted them, saying they looked cool!

Though his current friends admire his wings, he is afraid to show them sometimes- especially at night...
