From Afar
You must be the mirror glaze
On top of still-lakes
When the starlight's gazes
In every which way
You must be mangroves
on warm parks
Love letters engraved
Upon soft bark
You must be a basket of tulips
On a stranger's bike
One she tied in a twine grip
To give to her wife
You must be a cup of warm tea
On a rainy evening
Townhouse overlooking the sea
Echoes of waves crashing
You must be soft pine
The scent upon rising
Evergreen in my skyline
And a campfire brewing
Though you seem like everything,
I will not say a word
For there are simply things
That I do not deserve
- To you

All Love Lost
Poetry"Love is not lost after it is given. I have given love and it has stayed and they have been grateful for it. If I have removed pain in any way then I know that I have not loved for nothing."
