Piper's Point of View

After Alex and I had our night in the French country side, things changed. To begin with, Alex was hardly enjoying herself at the wine tasting anyway. I didn't think much of it until now.

We returned home and sat on the couch. Alex looked emotionally drained. "Al, what's wrong?" I finally asked. "And don't give me some bullshit excuse." She looked at me and took a deep breath.

"Piper, honestly, I'm okay. Seriously, nothing is going on. If it's anything, it's probably just missing my mom. She loved France. I know it's been nearly 11 years, but she was all I had until now. Now I have you. And I couldn't be happier." She said looking at me and holding my hand tightly.

"But what about that note in the car? Why were you constantly on your phone all night? Is there something you're not telling me?" I asked, desperate to get an answer.

Alex arched her head back. "Piper, if you absolutely must know-" she started to say as the door bell rang. Alex got up to answer the door and I went to the back porch.

Alex's Point of View

I went to answer the door, only to see the person who I didn't want to see here. Stella.

"What the hell are you doing here?!" I asked closing the door behind me.

"Alex, I told you I needed to see you, why haven't you answered any of my texts, calls, or letters?" She asked.

"Well, maybe because I'm getting married to PIPER!" I retorted back at her.

Stella started to get very angry and she walked away. I just hope Piper didn't hear any of that.

Piper's Point of View

Alex came back into the house and I came back in too. "So, what were you saying? And who was at the door?"

"I was saying that I was making wedding arrangements. I want this to be absolutely perfect for you. And it was just some fund raiser person."

I took her hands and kissed her. Alex is so caring, and it makes me so happy to see her being so in tune with the wedding planning. I'd never think that Alex would plan a wedding, I always thought I'd be the one doing everything.

Alex walked into the kitchen and poured some wine. She came back and set the glasses down. She leaned over me and started to kiss me. I was surprised, usually Alex wouldn't do make up sex, but for whatever reason, she was tonight and it was the best we've ever done.

After our little so called tango, we just relaxed and ate. "okay, so what I was thinking was, we fly everyone over here and have the wedding under the Eifle Tower." Alex said. She was describing the perfect wedding. This was my dream wedding. I kissed Alex and just hugged her.

"Now, you stay here. I'm going to look at some stuff." Alex said as she was heading out the door.

I was still smiling. Alex left a pile of magazines on the table and I started to flip through them. I called my friends and told them the plans. As soon as I got off the phone, the door bell rang. I went to go answer it.

"Who are you?" I asked looking at the person standing in the door way. The women had a bunch of flowers and a card.

"Is Alex here?" she asked still not giving her name.

"No, she stepped out for a bit.. who are you again?" I asked once more. "I'm Piper, her fiance." I continued.

"Oh, so you're Piper?!" She said getting very angry.

I nodded my head and before I knew it, her fist was flying at me.

Alex's Point of View

I pulled into the drive way, and saw Stella in the door way about to punch Piper.

By the time I got to the door, Piper was knocked out cold on the floor and Stella tried to run.

"YOU BITCH. WHAT THE HELL?!" I said before attacking her.
