Life was not getting any easier and the more they thought about it, the more complicated it seemed. Rael was completely shocked to know his old friends Regia, Ravi and Roesia were still alive and lived so near him, but he was even more surprised to know they were now vampires who were seeking a cure for vampirism, which involved a sylph. Rael had absolutely no idea about that cure, but was not happy to hear about it. He couldn't believe his old friends were hunting his kind and to find out he could not trust them, after praying so much to find them, was like a knife to the heart. He wanted to meet them more than anything, but now he was afraid. Both Rael and Raed procrastinated on what to do about the Black Moon clan by playing games all day. A week passed without them noticing and, truth be told, they only noticed because Rael was short of food and Raed was getting thirsty and needed more Cor Fructus. Neither of them answered their phones during that time, aside from two texts from Ravi and Draven. Raed lied to them and said he was going on a vacation alone. He did not know if they believed in his excuse or not, but they did not bother him much afterwards.

"Ok, we need to decide," said Raed, putting the console controller down, after losing another game against his older brother.

"Indeed, but first we need to get out of here to buy some food. We can't play games without it," Rael argued.

"That's very true," Raed agreed. "Decisions shouldn't be made with an empty belly."

"What time is it?" Rael asked.

Raed looked at his phone. "It's 7PM."

"Let's wait until the sun goes down and then you'll go out to get your weird juice and go to that supermarket near the gas station that is open all night to buy some food for me," Rael said.

"And what do we do until then?" Raed asked.

"I don't know. Let's just play another round," Rael replied, grabbing the controller again.

An hour later, the sun had already set, but it was still a bit clear outside, which was not much of a problem. Raed got in his car. They had taken it off of the road and covered with branches and leaves to hide it, since he knew that the Umbra clan wandered around forests and could spot it. Even though they were pretty far from the Umbra's nest, they thought it was best to be careful. He drove to the pink mansion and on his short trip he wondered what he would say to them.

"Oh, hi. Good to see you again," Raed greeted, after knocking on the side door of the house.

It was Rosaline who opened the door. She was surprised to see him, but was still polite, unlike some people in the living room, where he was led to.

"What the hell happened to you?!" exclaimed Regia, as soon as she saw him.

It was still early for vampires and they were preparing for the day ahead of them, but they stopped what they were doing to stare at him.

"I... told Ravi I went on a holiday. Didn't he tell you?" Raed said.

"Yeah, you did say that, although we can all agree it was pretty sudden," Ravi argued.

"Well, I... did not tell you the truth," Raed confessed.

"Yeah, we realized that much," Ravi said.

Raed sat down on the pink velvet couch, next to Mr. Benjamin, who was napping there. "While I was on my Graduation Day..."

"What?! Graduation Day has already happened and you didn't invite us?" Regia said, not happy at all.
