Chapter 5

Lexi's POV

I woke up to someone screaming: "Wake up!"

I opened my eyes and Finn was standing over me.

"Why!?" I yelled back.

"It's 9:30!" he said.

"Why does that matter we usually sleep in." I said coldly.

"Well we ordered breakfast, and Matt isn't awake yet..." He trailed off with a mischievous look in his eyes.

"OUT OF MY WAY!" I yelled at him, pushing past him, and sprinting to the bathroom.

I got undressed jumped in the shower washed my hair faster than I usually do and jumped back out. I put the towel on and went back into my amazing room and started looking of something to wear. I grabbed some shorts, tee shirt, and a pair I flip flops and walked out of my closet. I stopped. Finn was still in my room looking at me in shock.

"What?" I asked.

"That was the fastest shower I've ever seen you take," he said.

I rolled my eyes.

"Get out so I can change," I ordered him.

He walked through the connecting doors and into his room.

I changed and looked at my phone. All of our teammate's contacts were in here, I guess dad had someone enter their contacts. I scrolled through my contacts until I found Finn's. I pressed the call button and waited after a few rings he picked up

"What?" he asked sounding annoyed.

"I was just calling to say hi" I said.

"Well next time just say hi to me in person: I was in the shower and heard my phone, so I had to cut it short, now do you mind?" he said.

"No I don't mind." I said smiling.

If he was going to be king of the grumps this morning I would be the queen of sass. I looked at the time and went to the kitchen, and started to bang around trying to find plates.

"Why are you making so much noise it's only like 10 in morning?" Zach asked poking his head out of his door.

"Oh I'm so sorry," I said sarcastically while rolling my eyes, "I'll search quieter next time." 

"That's all I ask!" he said pulling his head back in.

Eventually Katie, Alyssa, and Lilly joined me in the kitchen. We all ate breakfast and had some girl bonding time.

After some time Finn finally came out, and I just stared at him.

"What?" he asked when he finally noticed me staring at him.

"I don't think I've ever seen you with messy hair." I said, shocked.

He just rolled his eyes.

"So are we doing anything today?" I asked.

"Ya, we're doing something but it's a surprise!" Katie squealed.

"Aw come on! At least give me a hint!" I protested.

"Sand." she said, "That's all I'm going to give you."

"What?" I asked

"The beach." Finn said looking at me like I was an idiot.

I mentally facepalmed. How could it not be more obvoious.

"Come on, how could I not guess that?" I asked frustrated.

Finn just rolled his eyes and laughed. 

"I SMELL FOOD!" I heard Matt yell down the hall.

"Oh great..." Katie said.

After we were attacked by a hungry Matt, I went into my room go grab my swim suit. I decided to go with my red bikini, so I could work on my tan. I put my shorts and tank top back on over it, and then threw my phone, towel, book and sunscreen into my beach bag. Then I ran out to meet everyone else in the living room.

"Took you long enough!" Matt joked.

I rolled my eyes; I seem to be doing that a lot lately.

"Come on! Let's go!" Lilly said.

We ran out the door we were walking down the hallway an all I a sudden I heard: "Tag you're it!" then all of a sudden Zach ran down the hall. He is so immature.

"You shouldn't have done that," I growled. I shoved my bag at Finn. He took it startled. Then I sprinted down the hall as fast as I could.

Zach reached the elevator and the doors opened he turned around with a smile on his face, but that disappeared as soon as he saw the look of pure determination on my face. He started to frantically push the close doors button but the door weren't closing very fast. Man, this is hard to do in flip flops I thought to myself. The doors started to close. I flung myself through the closing doors making them open again. I ended up tackling Zach.

"Tag, you're it." I said with a smirk on my face, while sitting on him.

When everyone finally caught up they were laughing.

"You should have seen your face!" Cody said between bursts of laughs. Zach just pouted.

Finn's POV

We finally made it to the beach. The boys and I were splashing each other. The girls were lying in the sun reading books.

"Hey, want to play a practical joke on the girls?" Zach asked.

"Sure!" I said.

We leaned into a huddle like we were playing football.

"OK here's the plan: Cody and Finn you guys distract the girls so Matt and I can get behind them and pour the buckets of water on them." We all nodded signaling that we were ready.

We broke the huddle and Cody and I went over to the girls

"Hey, watcha guys reading?" Cody asked.

"Oh we are reading-" all of a sudden Lilly broke off, "Since when have you been interested in what we are reading?"

"Well ever since-" Cody started but then was all of a sudden is tackled by Alyssa. I look at them in shock. What is happening? I thought. All I a sudden I was hit by some force. Next thing I knew I was on the ground, and the bucket of water went flying straight up and landed on me. I looked and saw Katie was laying on my chest smirking at me, but she was drenched too.

"What?" I asked. I looked over and saw Matt and Zach on the ground too with Lilly and Lexiy on their chests too. They looked just as confused as I felt.

I tried to get up but Lexi was holding me down.

"Hey, let me up!" I exclaimed.

"Not until you say that I'm awesome," she said with another smirk.

"Fine, Katie is awesome. There happy?" I asked. "No," she said smiling evilly, "Say it again!"

"Katie! Let him up!" Lilly said.

She sighed and let me up. How had the girls known what we were going to do?

"Next time talk softer," Lexi said to me with a smirk.
