Chapter 8

Lexi's POV

"Wake up!" I sat up. "Where's the fire?" I yelled. "No where I just wanted to see how fast you could get up." giggled Katie. "What for?" I asked really mad that she would wake me up just to see how fast I could get up. "So if we have an emergency you can get up fast." Katie replied really happy for some odd reason. "Why not get up Finn?" I asked. "Cody is getting your brother up." Katie said. That was the best news in this very short day I have gotten. I smiled. "You look really creepy when you smile like that." Katie said sounding really freaked out. "I know!" I replied, "That's the point." I got up and Katie left the room. I went and took a shower and got dressed. I went into the living room and looked at the clock. Why I hadn't looked in my room, I don't know. The clock said 5:30 a.m. I turned around and glared at a innocent looking Katie. "Why are you glaring at her like that?" Finn asked. I kept glaring at Katie and pointed at the clock. "Woah!" Finn said and started to glare at Cody. Matt walked in. "I'm hungry." he said. "I know." I said. "What are you so mad about?" Matt asked. "The time these two strange people woke us up." I said. "That happens all the time. You'll eventually get use to it." Matt said with a shrug. I finally stopped glaring at Katie and walked into the kitchen.

"What's for breakfast?" I asked. "What ever you make." Matt said. I groaned. "I'm too lazy though." "Well then your not hungry." Matt replied. "You sound like my mom." Katie said walking in. "Hey why didn't you wake up Alyssa and Lilly?" I asked with an accusing look on my face. "I didn't feel like it." Katie said with a shrug. I growled at her. I started to lunge but Matt caught me and told me to calm down. Finally after like five minutes I was calm enough for Matt to let me go. "You're mean. You know that right?" I told Katie. She just smiled. We ate breakfast in silence. "What's the plan for today?" Finn asked finally. "Something" Katie said mysteriously with a smirk. "TELL ME!" I yelled at her.

"Uggg some of us are still sleeping!" Lilly said while walking into the kitchen. I smirked. That got them up! "Can you give us a hint?" Matt asked. "Maybe." Katie said still eating. "What are we guessing?" Alyssa asked. "The dead awakes!" Cody said. Alyssa hit him on the arm. "Hey!" he said. I rolled my eyes. "Was that an eye roll I saw?" Cody asked with mock hurt. "Maybe." I replied with a smirk. "Well?" Finn prompted Katie. "What?" she asked. "What is our hint?" Finn asked looking a little bit annoyed. Katie just laughed. "Please?" we all begged. "We are meeting a friend of mine." Katie said. We all looked at each other in surprise. I was kind of confused and also very excited. "When and where?" I asked. "Why do you need to know?" Katie asked back. "So I know how to dress." I said in a duh tone. "Oh! Dress casual and you have 5 hours." Katie said. Alyssa, Lilly, and I looked at each other and shared the same look of panic.

We ran off as fast as we could to our rooms. I could hear the boys laughing hysterically behind us. "Hey want to help each other get ready?" Lilly asked. "Sure." Alyssa and I replied. We ran into Lilly's room. It was pink. It suited her nicely. "Go into your rooms and get the outfits that you think would look good." Lilly ordered. I ran into my room and grabbed some clothes and ran back into Lilly's room. This is going to be so much fun!

Finn's POV

The girls looked at each other with panic on their faces. I couldn't help but laugh. They ran off into Lilly's room. The other boys laughed too. It was priceless. I wish that I had my camera when they did that. It was totally a Kodak moment. After we calmed down Katie ran off to get changed too. I could hear banging and yelling in Lilly's room. I really don't want to know.

The guys and I decided to pass the time by watching T.V. and playing games. "What do you want to watch?" I asked. "The All Food All The Time network!" Matt yelled. (A/N I don't know if that exists I just made that up) "Sure." I said. "That sounds like fun. Now we'll have an idea of what to order to night." Zach said. "See I told you this channel was good for something!" Matt yelled. We sat down on the couch and started to watch. The chef was preparing a mouth watering steak. We all started to drool. I could almost taste the steak right now. "That looks amazing!" I said. "Of course! Now do you see why I like this channel?" Matt asked. We all nodded. The next thing the chef prepared was a grilled chicken that looked awesome. We kept watching. We just kept drooling. That chef can cook! We weren't even paying attention to the time. "Hey! You should be drooling over us not the T.V." Lexi said sounding amused. We turned and just stared. The girls looked amazing. "You can shut your mouths now." Alyssa said with a giggle. I closed my mouth. I didn't even realize my mouth was open. Lexi was wearing a charm bracelet and shorts and a yellow tank-top that looked matched her hair perfectly. Katie wearing a blue tee shirt (A/N sorry not a girl so I don't know how do describe the girls clothes that well) and shorts. Alyssa was wearing a red V-neck shirt and shorts. Lilly was wearing a green tee shirt as well and shorts. The other guys and I went into our rooms. I decided to wear kaki shorts and a yellow Aeropostale tee shirt. All the guys were wearing kaki shorts and their team's color shirts.

I linked arms with Lexi while the other guys linked arms with their team mates. We walked out of our apartment and to the elevator. We took the elevator up to the roof and there was a black helicopter waiting for us. "Cool!" I said. The others looked just as excited except for Katie who just looked smug. "Where to?" the pilot asked. Katie whispered something to the pilot. All I caught was something island. "We're going to an island?" I blurted out. "Yep!" Katie said popping the 'p' and sounding smug. I was suddenly unsure.

We started to fly over water after a while. "Nervous?" Lexi asked with a smirk. "No," I said, "Ok maybe a little. Are you?" "Kind of." She admitted. We sat in silence for a little bit. "Do you think Katie's friend will like us?" Lexi asked. "Sure" I replied. "Why wouldn't they?" I asked wiggling my eyebrows. Lexi giggled. "I don't know." she answered with a shrug. "We will be landing soon." the pilot said. Katie started to bounce up an down in he seat. "This is going to be so exciting!" Katie yelled in excitement. We all laughed at her excitement. "Are they a good friend?" Zach asked. Katie gave him the duh face. "No they aren't that's just why I have been super excited to see them!" Katie said sarcastically. "Sorry!" Zach said defensively.

We landed on a beach with white sand. "Welcome to the island." the pilot said. We jumped off the helicopter. Since we we're all wearing flip flops the sand got in. We ran as fast as we could to the other side and onto pavement. We stood there emptying out our shoes of sand. Finally after a while we were ready to go. "So where are we?" Alyssa asked. "We are in Profit town." Katie said. "I bet we can make a PROFIT here!" Matt said cracking a joke. Only Cody laughed. I just rolled my eyes. At the same time as Lexi which earned us a few laughs. We started walking with Katie leading. We finally reached the restaurant. We went in. "We are joining Travis." Katie told the waitress. As soon as Katie said Travis Matt started to get excited too. "You know him?" I asked him. He just nodded very energetically. "Right this way miss." the waitress said. We followed her to the back where there was a table with six people sitting around. They were holding a conversation. They stopped once they noticed us. "Hey Travis!" Katie said to one of the boys. He had short brown hair that kind of spiked up in the front and emerald green eyes. He looked a little too thin and was wearing an orange tee shirt with a logo for some guild and jeans. "Hey Katie!" he said "Hey Matt." They did a one hand guy hug. "Who are these people?" Travis asked. "This is Alyssa, Lilly, Lexi, Cody, Zach, and Finn." Katie said while pointing to each of us in turn. "This is Crystal." He said pointing to a girl with light brown hair and hazel eyes. She was wearing the same thing as the Travis boy. "That is Aaron." He said pointing to a boy with black hair and piercing grey eyes. It felt like he was looking right through you. He had sunglasses on his head and was wearing the same kind of orange shirt and jeans combination that Travis and Crystal had on. "That's Bree." he said pointing a blonde girl that was demanding cookies from the waitress. She had blue eyes and was wearing the orange shirt and jeans too. "That's Alexis over there." Travis said pointing to a girl with dark brown hair and a tan. She also had chocolate brown eyes. "It's LEXI!" she yelled at Travis. He flinched "Sorry LEXI." he said emphasizing the Lexi part. "That over there is Andrew." Travis said pointing to a blond headed kid trying to make Bree let go of the waitress. He had green eyes and was wearing the same orange shirt and jeans. We sat down at the table and I saw Lexi talking to Lexi. This was going to be a fun night.
