"Whoa, whoa, whoa, Eddie! Eddie! Stop!" Dustin pleaded with Eddie.

See what had happened was Dustin and Max ran to the family video store, with the assistance of Steve and Robin—the two were able to find out where Eddie was hiding out. At Reefer Rick's house, the local dealer. They poked around in the shed at the back of the house until they found a very paranoid Eddie, not knowing who to trust.

And that's why the Dungeon Master was holding a knife up to Steve "The Hair" Harrington's neck.

"Eddie! Eddie! It's me!" Eddie turned to his young friend. "It's Dustin. This is Steve—he's not gonna hurt you, right, Steve?"

"Right. Yeah."

"Steve, why don't you drop the oar?" Steve dropped the oar that got him in this situation in the first place, poking and prodding around. Eddie still held the knife colder to his neck.

"He's cool. He's cool."

"I'm cool, man. I'm cool."

Eddie quickly muttered a sentence. "What are you doing here?"

"We're looking for you."

Robin spoke. "We're here to help."

"Eddie, these are my friends. You know Robin, from band." Robin pretended to play an instrument. "This is my friend Max. The one who never wants to play D&D." He still didn't look fully convinced. "Eddie—we're on your side. I swear on my mother! Right guys?"

"Yes. Yes. We swear."

"On Dustin's mother."

"Yeah, Dustin's...Dustin's mother." Eddie gazed at Steve one last time before letting him go.

"Jesus..." Dustin said under his breath. "Eddie, we just want to talk."

Eddie leaned against the wall, and Dustin tried to reach out to him, but he recoiled.

Robin crouched down beside him. "We wanna know what happened."

He sniffed. "You won't believe me."

"Try us."

"No—no, you won't—"

"Eddie...we'll listen." Dustin racked his brain for a way to comfort him. "Soleil! Yeah, Soleil you know her, she wants to help you too, she told me to give you this." Dustin reached into his back pocket slowly and placed the film right in front of Eddie, Eddie looked at them before picking it up and slightly smiling at the happy faces of him and Soleil. He turned it over to see words written on the back of it "You helped me, I have to return the favor. -Sunny"

Steve rose an eyebrow. "Wait? You're talking about the chick that can do fire tricks at the Circus?"

"Maybe she's one hell of a sleuth too," Robin commented.
