After having defeated the Admin and successfully navigated the previous room, Sonic, Jesse, and friends make their way down another hallway while they ready themselves for whatever challenges may stand between them and the clock.
Sonic: Man... That last challenge was intense!
Tails: And the Admin... His power is... it's incredible!
Vector: Right? He can change his appearance and voice, change day to night...
Rouge: He can make himself fly, levitate people, and even teleport!
Shadow: And from the sound of his reactions back there, even being exposed to lava, magma, and arrows can't hurt him too much...
Knuckles: Right... And if we can get to the clock... The Admin's going to choose one of us to be his champion.
Petra: Meaning that he's going to be around for a while... Even after the world is saved...
Jesse: Regardless, we still have to push on. Remember, as long as that clock remains intact, Beacontown will not be safe from monsters...
Sonic: Which is why we need to keep moving until we reach the top.
The rest of the group nods in agreement as they continue to follow Sonic and Jesse.
Suddenly, a familiar bleating sound is heard from somewhere. This causes everyone to stop while Sonic asks,
Sonic: Did you hear that?
Lukas: Yeah... That sounds a lot like... (eyes widen in realization) Lluna?
Vector: It does sound like Stella's llama... But where is the sound coming from?
To this, Omega scans the entire hallway before stopping near the wall to the left, at which he says,
Omega: I am detecting life signs beyond this wall...
Shadow: How many?
Omega: Three life-forms detected...
Tails: Three life-forms? That must be Stella, Lluna, and Radar!
Sonic runs up to the wall and places his ear against it, only to hear Lluna’s muffled bleat from the other side.
Sonic: Yeah, that sounds like Lluna alright!
Amy: But how did she end up in there?
Vector: Maybe she got separated from Stella earlier and wandered into some kind of secret area of the Palace.
To this, Jesse replies,
Jesse: If she can get in there, then so can we!
Jesse then walks over to the wall and punches one of the blocks, only to end up backing away while holding his fist in pain.
Jesse: Ow... This wall's tougher than it looks!
Knuckles: Allow me.
Knuckles then walks up to the wall and punches it, creating a large hole for the group to pass through.
Jack: Very nice work there!
Knuckles: Thanks. Now let's get in there and find the others.
Shadow: Yes... Let's go.
Sonic, Jesse, and friends then pass through the hole.
On the other side, they find another cavernous room with many waterfalls pouring down from above as well as several platforms above a large pit.
