Finneys pov
It's the next morning me and Gwen just had run to school cause we woke up late she says it's my fault even though she was the one doing cartwheels all night. "HURRY" she screams at this point we got enough to the school where we wouldn't be late if we ran. I said goodbye to her and watched her as she walked to her side of the school as soon as she was out of my view I turn to walk into mine.
Immediately bump into Robin "what's up man, how was your weekend?" He pug his hand out for me to Dab me up. If you ask me I have no clue how I'm friends with this dude, he's always fighting people that at this point he could be in the movie creed. Well me on there hand I can barley even keep myself from tripping over my own feet... yeah exactly why I wonder why this guy hangs out with me but who am I to tell him anything? Right? RIGHT????
I respond with "mine was fine how about yours" and dabbed him up I looked at him and he looked at me and smiled "it was fine"
we were walking down the hall together we made small talk but as we were walking I catch a glance at my bullies and his friends looking at me. I think I learnt to live with the fact that I'm gonna get bullied for the rest of my life...Call it pathetic I call it coming to terms to my fate!
"they're still bothering you" Robin asked me I guess he caught a glance as well "yeah they are..."I looked down, I could tell Robin was frustrated, he's been trying his best to keep me protected from them but you know spider man cant always Be there. "are you ever gonna learn how to defend yourself?" he looked at me "I know how to defend myself I just choose not" looking forward trying not to make eye contact to. "you need to... I can't keep protecting you all the time, can't have too much blood on me you know" he lifts his hands and laughs. we did our normal routine where he drops me off right at my class to make sure I didn't get beat up. Maybe I should stand up to them! I will once I learn how to walk on water!
Time skip
I was on my way to lunch, 'shoot! I forgot to wait for Robin' of course as I said that matty and his goons took this as an opportunity to beat me up. I ran into the bathroom stall hiding hoping they wouldn't hear or at least didn't try to follow me into the bathroom but I was wrong I hear the door swing open "Oh come out we don't want to hurt you" I must up the courage and walk out of the stall "did you not see it says boys not f@gs" before they could do anything robin walked in and saved my ass just in time.
"Thanks for saving me" I thank him as we walk out of the bathroom "no problem amigo, I'm always here" we kept walking making our way into the lunch room. "hey Finney can you come over to my house today? He looks at me as we grab our food. "Uhm sure, but Gwen won't be there like usual" We go to sit down in the far corner where we usually sit. "why? Your dad finally let you not take her everywhere you go" he asked.
"I wish, but no my prima just moved into a house down the street from my house, and Gwen's going over to her house after school, and after that, my cousin is kidnapping me to go shopping after I help you at your house" he looked at me with an expression I could not even describe, it was a mixture of shock and surprise. "Okay first of all, prima? When did you ever speak Spanish? 2nd of all, you have a cousin?" 'is he interrogating me now? "1st of All, are you interrogating me? And I do have a cousin! she's Mexican so I have to kinda get used to her telling me stuff in Spanish" he looked at me and just kept eating
