"Something bad about to happen to me"
Marianna's pov
(We are in 3rd period now)
Ring! The bell finally rang, and that means it was time for lunch. I grab my bag and walk out of Spanish. I head towards the lunch room. "Boo!" I heard someone say while shaking me. I turned around it was Robin "Yeah, you need to try harder than if you want to scare me," I told him while flicking his forehead. "Ugh you aren't any fun, but anyways cmon I'll show you where we all sit" with that, he dragged me into the lunch room.
"I already told you pendejo! The next time you grab me and drag me I'll be putting you 6 feet UNDER!" I grabbed my wrist back from Robin. "Hey, Marianna!" I hadn't realized we were in the back corner of the lunch room at a table. It was Gwen and Finney! "Hey Gwen" I said while sitting down and putting my backpack next to me. "Seems like you have been having fun with Robin," Finney said making fun of me. "Just because you are my cousin doesn't mean I won't slap you" I threatened Finney he just leaned back and held his hands up.
"Well I'm going to get lunch, you coming Mari?" Asked Robin, while getting up. "Nope I'm fine I don't like lunch," I said while putting my face in my hand. "What kinda psychopath doesn't like Lunch," he asked. "Well, obviously this psychopath right here," I told him while pointing at myself. "Whatever" and with that Robin walked away. It's true I never really liked lunch, so I just ate random snacks from my backpack almost all the time.
Gwen looked at me and asked, "so how's school going?" I shrugged "nothing out of the ordinary" Finney was still staring at me. "Mari, I know that look.. what is it?" Finney knew me a little too well. "Okay you are right, this group of boys keep on staring me down in the halls and it's just creepy" and I just put my head down. "Ugh boys are so weird" I heard Gwen say.
A few moments later
I still had my head down on the table. I hear a tray be put on the table next to me. "what's up with her?" it was Robin. I sat up straight "nada" I tried telling him. Luckily he didn't push it any further.
Out of the corner of my eye, I see the boys from today walk into the lunch room. This has been giving me bad vibes all-day I grab my backpack and open it. I slid my thing into the back of my skirt, and grabbed a sharpie from my backpack, and held it in my hand.
I could feel Finney looking at me. He was one of the only ones who knew I had the thing. I try not to make eye contact with him.
"There you are!" I looked up it was Nico. Thank god for something good today. "Nico!" I got up and went to hug him. "Quien es Este güey?" Robin was obviously not fond of me hugging some random guy he didn't know. "Calm down stupid this is Nico, my best friend! Nico this is Robin, Finney's friend" I decided to introduce them to each other "hey Nico" Robin said, it looked like Robin was staring into his soul. "Hey man...." Nico seemed kinda confused and then turned to Finney and Gwen "fin, Gwen" Nico greeted them.
Nico turned back to me. "So how's school going so far?" As soon as he said that I caught the boys that have been stalking me all day closing towards us. I lean in close to Nico's ear "It's been good, but I have a feeling it's about to get a lot worse.." I whisper to him while nudging him to turn around. He turned around and saw the boys coming toward us. "Marianna don't do anything stupid," he said holding my arm back. "Yeah yeah. Hold this" I said handing off my sharpie to him while. Staring at the guys who only go closer and closer.
