"I'll l keep your best interest" Marianna's pov
"Finney you didn't tell me you had a baseball game today" I turned to Finney when we were all walking home. When I mean all I mean, Nico, Gwen, Donna, Robin, and Finney. "oh shoot! I forgot to tell you" Finney said slapping his face. "Are you going, Mary?" Nico asked me "of course, why do you ask?" I said raising an eyebrow at him.
"You haven't told her...have you?" Gwen asked Nico while giggling. "Nico what do you have to tell me..." I said looking at Nico while we walked. "Well...I'm also on the baseball team!" he confessed while looking at the ground. "YOU ARE? SO I WIN THE BET" I said screaming while pushing him. "What bet?" Asked Robin.
Flashback
"THAT WAS A CURB BALL! YOU ONLY SAID FASTBALLS!" I yelled at him from the batters' box.
"NO, IT WASN'T YOU ARE JUST BAD!" Yelled Nico since he was pitching.
"Okay throw me one more," I said while getting into position.
"Okay but now I'm gonna throw either a curve ball a slider or a fastball" he yelled getting into his pitching position.
I stood there and waited for him to throw.
WACK!
It was a fastball.
"UGH MARINA!, WHY DO YOU NEVER MISS MY FAST BALLS" Nico whined throwing his glove to the floor.
"Nico, it's just cause you are just bad," I let out mocking him from earlier. I ran to get the ball. "Your pitches are the best, I don't understand why you don't join a team!" I yelled at him running back to him. "No way! I'll never join a baseball team" he stated while taking the ball from my hand as we walked to the dugout. "Wanna bet?" I said while sitting down. " sure Whatcha wanna bet?" He asked and than "if you join a team you owe me 100 bucks and a slushy!" I stated.
"Deal loser!"
Back from flashback
"Okay, to be fair it wasn't a curve ball!" Nico yelled. "IT DEFINITELY WAS YOU LIAR!" I yelled back. We started to argue back and forth. "Well guys this is my street," spoke out Robin. "Wait rob- are you gonna go to the game later?" Finney asked him. "You know it, anyways bye hoes" robin waved and went and took a turn to his street.
Time skip
We made it to Finneys and Nico's houses since they live across from each other. As we were saying goodbye to each other Nico pulled me aside. "Hey, marina.. mind going to the game early? It's when the team practices happen, and well I want you to bat for me, you are a great batter and you always hit my best pitches"
Did he just ask me to go practice? YAY I LOVE BASEBALL SO MUCH. "of course Nicholas, but you might wanna stretch before practice because this batter has only been getting stronger," I said holding up my arms and flexing them. He just laughed and smacked my head.
I look over and overhear Donna and fin talking.
"I'm excited to see you play," said Donna her eyes glowing. "Uh, thanks, Donna!" Finney responded.
"Cmon Donna we have to go to my house" I called out for Donna so we could get going. "Of course, bye fin" Donna smiled at him "bye Donna" Finney smiled back at her. "BYE LOSER SEE YOU LATER," I said yelling and he just waved and walked into his house.
"Oh fin!!!! I love you so much, omg Finn!!!!" I said teasing Donna "MARINA! shut up!" Donna scolded me. I started laughing at her "Fine fine, let's just hurry up and go home" I grabbed her wrist and dragged her to my house.
Time skip!
"Okay, no way you have this many clothes marina!" Donna let out. she was sitting on the floor while eating the noodles we had ordered earlier. "Clearly you haven't seen my collection of shoes," I told her while raising my eyebrows and smirking. The reason why we were even in my closet in the first place was That I was looking for an outfit for donna to wear to the baseball game.
After rummaging through some drawers and hangers I finally found an outfit. I grabbed the outfit and threw it at her. "Try it on!" I demanded then I walked out of the closet to let her try it on.
"I'm done!" She yells in confirmation for me to come back in. I walked in and she was wearing a black denim skirt a white long sleeve crop top and an oversized black denim jacket. "I look so amazing," Donna says while she into the mirror in-front of her.

"You look so good! see I am good with fashion," I said in a cocky tone. i reached for my phone, and I look at the time, it's about time we leave. "Hey, Donna I think it's about time we should leave," I say while getting up off the floor. "The game doesn't start for another hour!" She says. "I promised Nico I'd go bat for him since he needs some tough competition when he pitches," I said while looking through my closet. "What are you even looking for?" She asked me while standing in between the door of the closet. "My sweater and my bat" she just waits for me to say anything else. "I found it" pulling both my sweater and bat out.
My doggers zip-up is my favorite sweater to wear whenever I go play baseball. Because of course, my home team is doggers.

"Okay, are we ready to go?" Asked Donna grabbing her stuff so we can leave.
Wait I need to grab my 'thing' before we leave.
"Uh yeah- just go downstairs and we will leave I need to make sure everything is turned off..." I said making up some excuse. "Kk!" Donna seemed to believe it and ran down the stairs. I quickly grabbed my 'thing' into my skirt making sure you can't see it when I walk and once everything was good I ran downstairs.
"Okay ready to go?" I asked Donna. "Yep let's go!" And we went to get the car from the garage and we left.
