Marianna's pov
We finally pulled into the field where the baseball game was going to be held. As I was parking I see the teams practicing, and I remember I still had the thing on me.
'i can't play with this on me unless I'm ready to meet my hamster again'
we were about to get out of the car, but I needed to give my thing to Donna, hopefully, she wouldn't freak out. "wait Donna" I said stopping her before she opened the car door. "What Marina-?" She looked at me confused. I pulled my sweater up so she could see what I had on me. "Can you hold this for me...." I asked her. her facial expression changed immediately "WHY DO YOU HAVE GUN TUCKED INTO YOUR SKIRT!" Donna yelled in surprise. I put my hand over her mouth "GIRL! Shush, it's for safety purposes, plus it's not loaded" I told her and took the gun out of my skirt to give to her. She gave me a hesitant stare, but After a few seconds she took it from me "YOU ARE SO LUCKY I LOVE YOU!" Donna said taking the gun and tucking it into her skirt.
We got out of the car and started to walk the field. I guess we weren't the only ones there early. I see girls sitting on the bleachers talking and laughing. As we walked closer I noticed Gwen was sitting on the bleachers alone, so we went up to where she was sitting. "Hey, Gwen!" I said while hugging her and then donna gave her a hug saying hello. "Hey, girls, what are you two doing here so early?" Gwen asked us as she sat back down. "Well...Marianna came to help Nico practice," Donna said while also sitting down. I rolled my eyes "what about you Gwen? Why are you here so early?" I asked Gwen. "Oh I decided to leave with Finney so I wouldn't have to walk alone," Gwen said while smiling up at me. I grabbed my bat and stood in front of Gwen and Donna "Well, you two..." I said while looking out towards the field. "I have to go help this idiot I'll be back in a bit," I rolled my eyes and I heard them giggle as I began to walk away. "Have fun Mari" I heard one of them say, and I just put my hand up in response.
I started to walk towards the dugout where the team was. "What's a pretty girl like you doing over here?" A random boy said looking at me with a dumb smirk on his face. "Where is Nico?" I asked obviously annoyed.
"Woah cálmate chica, yeah give me a second," the boy says looking around the field.
"OYE NICO, A PRETTY GIRL IS ASKING FOR YOU!" The boy yelled out to the field, but his yelling also caught everyone else's attention.
"Now todo el Mundo is looking over at the 'pretty' girl stupid," I said looking at this boy.
"The Names Ivan," he said putting his hand out for me to shake it, I might be bratty but I have manners so I shake his hand. "Nice to meet you, Ivan, I'm Marianna" Before I could keep talking to Ivan Nico showed up.
"Nice to see you, Mari," Nico said patting my back. "Yeah whatever Nico let's just practice," I said smacking his head, and he fake winced at the gesture. While grabbing my stuff Nico looked at Ivan, "No Bruce yet?" Nico asked Ivan. "Nope not yet, he better get here before coach does or he's gonna get an earful" Ivan said laughing, "hey Ivan, Marianna is here to help me pitch, would you like to go with us? We do need someone to be our outfielder" Nico asked Ivan. "Yeah sure, I need to run around a bit anyways" Ivan responds while grabbing his glove.
And with that, we started to walk out to the field.
A/n so we finally found out what the thing is. AND WE MET IVAN! (Also these chapters are coming out slower and slower and I'm sorry.)
