Chapter Ten

             Kira POV

It's being a week now and chase has being pestering me!

I kept on refusing but he was unstoppable...he was just around me all the time.

And it was driving me crazy!

All he did was stare at me 90% of the time.

"Could you please stop that? It's freaking me out" I said as he kept on staring at me at the cafeteria

"I could stare at you forever... you're just too pretty, I sometimes doubt if you're even real" He said

I forced a smile on my face.

During classes, he kept reaching for my arm just to hold it.

During lunch,he will feed me and just watch me eat

He was acting like the perfect boyfriend and I had no choice but to play along to protect my cover

Ugh,what had I gotten myself into?

Later that night,I called Leonard and reported everything including my fake relationship with chase

"I need you to stop entertaining any distractions and finish your mission ASAP, understood?" He said in a raised voice

He sounded mad and I felt bad

"Do you think it's easy for me Leo? I also want to leave this fucking house and finally be done with this mission but I'm just not having enough time and you think I'm entertaining distractions" I fired back at him

"No Kira, it's not like that.." He said but I cut him off

"Alright then I'm sorry, I'll do better" I said and angrily cut the call

I felt so upset that Leo thinks I'm playing around in this mission,if he was in my shoes right now,what would he do?

I just need to search Mr Anderson's room more and I have to do that first thing in the morning.

When I woke up, I saw Chase smiling at me with breakfast in bed.

"Good morning,my love... eat up,I cooked it for you" He said

Chase could cook? Oh he must be kidding

The eggs looked delicious so I decided to have a little taste and they actually were delicious.

"I didn't know you could cook" I said

"I wanted to be a chef and open my own restaurant someday but Dad wants me to be the next CEO of his company instead" Chase said with a sullen face

I felt bad for him, he's not able to fulfill his dreams because of his father...what a terrible father!

"Nothing feels better than living your dream,so stop being a loser and go for it" I said

"It's your life,not your dad's anyway" I added

I suddenly felt bad knowing that his dad was a criminal

Chase turned to me and said

"That's the most beautiful thing I've ever heard in my life, I can't help but fall for you harder each day"

He sounded so real,I almost fell for it.

"You're pretty good with words, aren't you?" I said

"I'm serious about you" He replied

To my surprise,he gave me a quick peck on the lips

And it made me blush like hell.

What is wrong with me?

           
             Chase POV

Ever since Kira and I started dating....It's being the most happiest moments of my life

So today I decided to surprise my girlfriend with a breakfast in bed

She looked surprised to see the breakfast in bed....

I saw the doubt in her eyes when I told her I could cook but she eventually taste the food and I felt glad to see the excitement in her eyes...

I've had the dream of becoming a chef one day ever since I was a kid but Dad shattered my hopes when he told me to give up such dreams and focus on being the CEO of his company.

I felt a ray of hope after Kira encouraged me to follow my dreams...

I just couldn't help but pecked her lips and her cheeks turned red.

              Kira POV

One weekend, Chase insisted that I train him in boxing

We put on casual clothes and I tied my hair in a ponytail.. we both put on some boxing glove so that no one can get hurt.

When we got inside the ring,he was so hyped up

"Are you sure about this?" I asked

"Heck yeah,come on let's start" He said

But the moment I threw one punch at him,he went flying like paper!

I worriedly rushed up to him but he immediately got up

"I wasn't ready but this time I'll show you no mercy" He said with confidence

I decided to make him win and let him knock me out this time.

"You cheated,you let me win" He said

"Ugh no I didn't,you won fair and square" I lied

He was pouting as he sulked in a corner and suddenly I felt bad as I went to him

"Alright fine I cheated, I'm sorry" I said

"I'll accept your apology if you have a date with me" He said

I agreed and he took me to the park.

I waited for him on the bench as he bought me ice cream..

There were a couple of kids playing around and to my surprise he called them over and bought ice cream for all of them...and he even gave the vendor a huge tip.

He wasn't really that bad after all... and I just found myself smiling

Oh no, I couldn't be falling for him.

I had to get rid of these stupid thoughts and focus on my mission

I woke up early in the morning before Chase got ready for school

I quickly went to Mr Anderson's room and ransacked through everywhere

I was searching the bookshelves when a book fell on the floor

I picked the book up and saw a letter in-between the pages

What is this? A letter

And it was a letter for chase...

What is in here? I'll have to read it, who knows it might be a clue about the Gold bars...
