Chapter Eight

               Kira POV

"What are you doing chase? Just leave it, I'll clean it myself" I said feeling embarrassed as the stares of the entire students in the cafeteria where on me

"No just let me clean it" He said

I took the napkin away from him and went to the restroom

Damn it! Damina!

She's lucky she's still in school or else I would have given her a beaten.

Damina then entered the restroom at that moment

Well well it seems that lady luck is shining on me.

"Oh baby, you're so romantic..I know you were trying to flirt with me that's why you spilled the drink over me" I said acting flirty

"Eww get away from me... I'll rather flirt with my dog than you" She said

"Oh really.. since you prefer dogs,I can be a dog for you" I said walking closer to her as she stepped back

"What are you doing? Step away from me... don't move any closer" She said

She continued moving backwards as her back hit the wall, I cornered her and trapped her between my arms.

"What do you want? Let me go" Damina said looking scared

"Don't you think you deserve a reward for your public flirting" I said

"No no please... I'm sorry just let me go" She said with tears in her eyes

"But I can't let you go without you giving me a kiss" I said

I pouted my mouth as if I was waiting for a kiss...then someone knocked on the restroom door

I let Damina go as she ran to the door with tears in her eyes... Well she's one crybaby.

I opened my phone and quickly checked the spy camera that was in Mr Anderson's house...

I saw Mr Anderson entering the house with a few other people who looked like his business associates and I also saw a familiar face

Wait... isn't that bobby?

What is bobby doing with Mr Anderson?

         Kira POV

Chase decided that we should skip school today just to go shopping but this time for clothes.

He was busy choosing different outfits from the rack just like a girl would.

"Do you think this one looks nice?" He said showing me a coat

"They all look nice sir" I said

He picked his clothes pretty quick and went over to the female clothing rack

"Do you like this one?" He asked showing me a red leather jacket

Wait... Is he buying clothes for me?

No no it's just my imagination

"It looks nice sir" I said

"I'm glad you like it,I thought you only like black" he said

"Sir are you buying this for me?" I asked confused

"Well yes... since your jacket got stained that day, you'll need a new one" he said as he went on to pick other female clothing.

He really decided to buy me a new jacket just because the other one got stained... Why is chase so caring?

I could feel this weird feeling in my tummy again.

After he was done shopping,he asked me to carry all the shopping bags as other girls gave me weird looks

There must be thinking why am I carrying the bags instead of him?

I suddenly remembered seeing bobby in Mr Anderson's house

"Chase I've being meaning to ask...how do you know bobby?" I asked

"Oh he's just someone who works for my Dad...he comes to my house at times and he enjoys teasing and bullying me whenever he's there" Chase said

But what kind of work is someone like bobby doing for Mr Anderson? It can't be professional work..

Something is definitely going on and I'll have to find out.

When we got home, Chase and I received goodnews that his father Mr Anderson was out on a business trip and he won't be back until a few weeks...

Great!! I'll finally have time to search this house thoroughly.

I handed Chase all his shopping bags and then he gave me one shopping bag

"That one is yours" he said

"Mine? Oh no sir I can't take this" I said

"Why?" He asked

"It's just not appropriate and there was no need for you to buy all these for me,I don't need them" I said

"Just keep them even if you won't wear them" he said

"But sir..."

"Kira please keep them.. just see it as receiving the first gift from your boss,trust me you'll surely need them one day" He said and went to his room

I opened the shopping bags and I saw different black outfits and dresses

Although they all look good but too bad I won't ever be wearing them.

****At Night***

After I made sure everyone was asleep, I set out to check the whole house again looking for Mr Anderson's room

I was about to open the door to the last room in the mansion when chase cornered me

"What are you doing?" He asked

I froze

"Oh chase! You're here... I've being looking everywhere for you" I said

"I've being in the kitchen although I would never have anything to do in my father's room" he said

Bingo! That means this last room was his father's room

I was so happy that I hugged chase

I quickly disengaged the hug when I realized what I was doing

"Woah what was that?" Chase asked looking surprised

I could feel my cheeks becoming warm out of embarrassment

"I was just happy that I finally found you" I lied

"Oh, I'm sure you're developing feelings for me Kira...it seems I've finally charmed my way into your heart" he said

Oh boy! He's having wrong thoughts again.

"Oh you wish, I actually don't have any feelings for you at all" I said

"Hmm don't worry,one day I'll surely charm my way into your heart" he said

"I wish you luck" I said

"I was even looking for you so that we could have a sleepover" He said

"Sleepover? It's really late and we'll have to be in school tomorrow" I said

"Oh come on I'm not feeling sleepy and I can go to school anytime I want" He said

Yeah! I forgot that these rich kids don't value school as long as there can bribe their ways with money

"Well... I'm too tired for a sleepover so I'm going to bed" I said as I formed a yawn

"Goodnight sir" I said before walking away...

Shit! I wasn't able to search Mr Anderson's room because of chase.

I'll have to find a way to avoid chase if I want to be able to search that room.
