Chapter Fourteen

             Kira POV

It's being five days since Chase has been admitted and I've being staying with him at the hospital.

Damina also comes around after school hours and Damien also comes to check up on him at times.

Chase's graduation ceremony is just two days away from now and the doctor says I can take Chase home today...

My friendship with Damina has being progressing quite well so far, we've grown to understand each other and she isn't really a bad person like I thought.

"Kira, don't just stand there,come help me get up" Chase said drifting me away from my thoughts

Chase has gotten used to ordering me around ever since he was admitted in the hospital...

I glared at him as I went to answer him

I carefully placed his hand around my shoulder and helped him get up from the hospital bed

"Are you sure you can now stand on your own?" I asked

"Yes I think I can now walk with my own two feets" He said

I let him go as his legs wobbled a bit but he maintained his stance and walked forward

"Great, you can quite being a lazy ass and walk on your own two feets now" I said receiving glares from him in response

**Two Days Later**

         Kira POV

Chase and the other students flew their caps up as they took a photo..

I just smiled as I watched them from a corner.... chase turned to me and smiled

I could feel my heart melting with that smile revealing his white teeths and cute dimples.

Why is he so handsome? It's killing me..

"Happy graduation ceremony Chase" I said as he walked up to me

"Thank you although I also feel you could have joined us" He said

I chuckled

"You're not serious,I wasn't even a real student" I said

"But you sat down and attended lectures with us" He said

"Chase... just forget it" No one can win an argument against chase.

"Kira...will you be my date to prom tonight?" Chase suddenly asked

I gasped as I stared at him in shock

"Chase,what are you saying? I can't follow you to the prom" I said

"Why not?" He asked

"Because.. it's just I.." he cut me off

Chase seems to really like pissing me off anytime he cuts me off at the middle of a sentence!

"You're my bodyguard and you'll have to be around me 24/7 right?" He asked

"Yes.."

"So how will you be around me if you don't follow me to the prom? Do I need to remind you about your business talk" He said

I smiled,he always has a way to make me agree

***Later***

It was just few hours to the prom, Chase and I returned home.

Chase is busy getting ready to be the most dashing one out there and I finally have the chance to search Mr Anderson's room since he's busy now.

I entered the room and shut the door... I had already searched everywhere in this room and there's nothing related to the Gold bars.
