I jolted awake, and I began to cry. My body began to shake as I saw my dream play over in my head. A gentle knock sounded at my door, and Scott stepped inside. I didn't even notice him standing there. As soon as he saw me trembling, he rushed over to my side and tried to calm me down the best he could.

Scott: It's okay, Kailyn. You're okay.

Slowly I calmed down as I realized that Scott hadn't died in the fire. Then I looked around, and I forgot that it was a dream. My brown eyes were unfocused as I glanced around wildly. Scott gently placed his hands on my shoulder and leg. Suddenly I began to cough as if the dream was becoming reality. Alarmed, Scott tried to help the best he could. Slowly I stopped coughing, and the dream faded from my head, allowing me to get up. I longed to climb into bed beside Kirstin, but I knew it wouldn't be good for her. She needed rest, and I was going to give it to her. I stretched and followed Scott downstairs. Kirstin was sitting on the couch. Therefore, I went and got snuggled in beside her. I felt safe with her beside me, helping the fact that the nightmare was terrifying. It didn't help that all the other dreams I had meant something. My first dream was about this girl dying in front of me after being thrown out of a house. Later I found out that Kirstin had gone into cardiac arrest at the point that person died. The second was similar to the first dream. Now the third was a bit harsher and came later when the four of us were at Kings Island. I was helping do a ceremony for the new employees. The dream entailed me standing on a stage in Florida. There were shadows all around me, and the crowd was basically shadows. Then as I was searching for the item that was causing the shadows, I saw Kirstin standing alone. A moment later, a cry of agony rose into the air, then a split second after that, a cry of death from someone else. It happened again, then I saw a figure moving in the shadows and was heading for Kirstin. Eventually, Kirstin was killed by Jessica Peterson, my enemy who has repeatedly tried to kill me. If she was trying to kill me, she's doing a very bad job at it. That dream was foreboding a stage collapse that almost killed me. The next dream was also when we were in Kings Island, where I was in this desolate place. I had no idea where I was. Suddenly the signs of a thunderstorm started coming, and it started to rain. I protected Kirstin from hail then I was pulled off by a tornado, which killed Kirstin. When the four of us were walking by a roller coaster named The Beast, I felt the storm signs and told Kirstin. I tried to get to the shelter but was unable to due to the fact that I was caught in a snare. I almost died due to hail. As far as I'm concerned, my dreams always happen, or something along those lines has happened. This latest dream was terrifying, and the fact that Scott was the one that was involved mostly was the most terrifying part of the entire dream. My mind returned to the real world, and Kirstin gently rubbed my arm with her thumb. Scott smiled at me as he brought me a piece of a breakfast cheesecake he had helped me make.

That afternoon, Kirstin was resting, and I decided to get some fresh air. I opened the front door and stepped outside. Taking a deep breath, I walked calmly to the overlook. I sighed as I remembered that this was my home now. I turned around to take in the fact that this cabin was my cabin, too, not just Kirstin's. Turning back around, I thought I heard rocks falling. I just shrugged and continued to admire the beautiful view of Downtown Gatlinburg. From down below, I heard a rustling. I glanced down but didn't see anything. Maybe it's just the wind. I decided as I took another deep breath. After I had taken a couple of refreshing deep breaths, I turned to head back into the cabin. Suddenly I felt a hand cover my mouth. I was forced onto the ground by whoever was attacking me. Soon I felt my hands tied tightly to the point that I could feel blood seeping from my wrists. My feet were tied the same way. Then I could feel a weight on me but was soon released. After I had laid there tied up, still fighting, I felt a large object repeatedly come on my back. This continued until I could barely keep my eyes open. I was then lifted into the air and slammed onto the ground. The wind was knocked out of me, and I lay there gasping. I weakly lifted my head and saw Kirstin staring in horror from the window. Kirstin! Call Scott! I wanted to yell out, but I knew better. Remembering Kirstin, I felt new strength flow into my limbs and an energy that was only fueled by one thing: Kirstin's safety. I know that if Jessica found a way into the house, Kirstin could lose her life. With all my strength, I kicked upward with both feet, surprisingly dislodging Jessica. I heard her exhale as the wind was knocked out of her. I looked up at the window, and Kirstin had relaxed slightly. That moment lasted for only a moment because Jessica had recovered, and now she lifted me up again and slammed me on the ground. The strength and energy quickly evaporated. My body began to weaken as she started beating my back and legs again. Using the last of my strength, I tried vainly to dislodge my attacker by rolling sideways. Jessica pulled the rope tighter making me cry out in pain. I glanced at the window to see Kirstin holding her phone to her ear. I wasn't going to make it. Jessica won't stop unless Scott shows up or worse: I'm dead. I love you, Kirstin. If I don't make it, hide. Please. Save yourself. As I felt Jessica lift up either a whip or something into the air, I heard what sounded like a car pulling into the driveway. Scott! He showed up in time! But will he get up the driveway in time to save my life? I caught sight of shiny metal in the bright, warm Tennessee sun, and I knew that Scott still couldn't make it. I willed Scott to hurry up the driveway, and I didn't feel anything as I gave up. My body hurt too bad even to try to fight back. I could tell Jessica was about to deal a death blow, but I heard the car had reached the top of the driveway. He could make it after all! You are going to wish you never even touched me. I mocked Jessica silently as I heard the most joyous sound I had ever heard. The anger-filled voice of Scott Hoying.
