The Wedding Day

"Do you. Zylan Adams take Zylith Williams as your lawfully wedded wife?" The priest asked.

"I do," he responded with his deep voice that echoed through the large church.

"Do you. Zylith Williams take Zylan Adams as your lawfully wedded husband?" The priest asked.

"I do," she smiled as she looked up at him through the veil.

"You may kiss the bride."

Zylan rolled up her veil and kissed her as everyone cheered and applauded.

The limousine they left in had NEWLY WEDS Z&Z written on it with flowers and the usual wedding car decorations.

"Finally. You're mine," he sighed in satisfaction as he pulled her in for a kiss. He held he waist while she put her hand on his neck revealing the beautiful diamond ring on her hand.

They had a small family party after that where Daniel gave a short speech wishing them well and announcing that he has bought them a house as his wedding gift.

When it was time to leave for their new house, Zylith turned to her mother who was smiling at her with teary eyes and hugged her.

"I'll miss you so much mom," she hugged her mom.

"I'll miss you too. The house is going to be quiet and lonely now."

"I'm going to visit you everyday," she smiled at her mom. She hugged her one more time and bid her goodbyes to Judy and Jermaine though they would be seeing each other whenever they wanted to.

Meanwhile, Ava and Daniel were telling Zylan to be good to Zylith and take care of her.

"Have fun fucking but don't break the bed okay?" Benjamin whispered in his ear as he laughed.

Zylan laughed as his friend wiggled his brows at him before leaving.

Time Skip

Zylan drove the car himself to their new house. It was too big for two people but cozy. Zylith smiled to herself as she remembered her mom constantly asking for her opinion on some designs.

"So this is what she was up to," Zylith's eyes got teary as she looked around. She was thankful for having Claire as her mom.

"You can go and freshen up first. I have a business call," Zylan whispered to her as he held the phone up to his ear. She nodded and went upstairs, looking for the master bedroom.

It was easy to tell which one it was because of the size of the room and the romantic vibe that filled in the room. The lights were off and there was a trail of jasmine scented candles on the floor making a pathway to the bed with red petals on the sides.

She lifted her dress up a bit to prevent it from catching fire and walked into the room. The bed was filled with rose petals on top of the white sheets.

She smiled to herself as she walked towards the dressing mirror to take off her jewelry.

Zylan walked into the room as she was taking off her necklace. He stood behind her and wrapped his hands around her waist while he spoke on the phone.

"Yes. That's actually a very good strategy," he said it in a serious tone but wore a different facial expression in reality. She gestured him to help her remove the necklace and he obliged as he spoke on the phone.

"Hmm," he hummed as he listened carefully.

"My apologies Mr. Clark but I have to end our discussion here. I have something important to attend to," he smirked as he looked at her through the mirror. He put the phone down on the dressing mirror and spun her around to face him.
