-Lucas-
It had been a week since Zylith left and the emptiness I felt before, kicked in. I invited her out for lunch as an excuse to meet her somewhere private away from our families.
We met at a mall where she went shopping for some new clothes because eventually, her baby bump would grow and she would be unable to fit her clothes.
"How is this?" she asked, showing me a dress.
"Not very cute try this," I pointed at a baby blue turtle-neck velvet dress, "this would look good on you."
"Hmmm looks good," she took out her size, "let me try it on."
She left her purse and phone with me and went to the fitting room. Snooping around someone's phone was not my thing but curiosity got the better of me.
I unlocked her phone and went to her Instagram. I just wanted to see her conversation with that good for nothing Zylan, that's all.
Their conversation was full of arguments but I could tell that he cared about her. He was cold for sure, but he loved her and that annoyed me.
"Lucas," she walked out, "how do I look?"
"Gorgeous," I smiled, turning her phone off.
"Thank you. I'll go and remove it now," she informed before going back in. She quickly came back and then purchased the dress. We went to a restaurant after that.
"Is it your first time being here?" I asked.
"Yeah, I don't usually eat at restaurants. It's always takeaways from KFC or home," she laughed.
We made our orders and chatted whilst waiting for the food.
"So how have you been?" I asked.
"Not bad," she shrug, "I'm so sick of the morning sickness thing though."
"Get used to it. It was going to happen sooner or later," I chuckled.
"I honestly never imagined myself like this. I look like a whale these days," she complained.
"A sexy whale," I teased.
"Oh stop it," she scoffed. The waitress served us and we started eating. It was all going well until, it was time for us to part ways. I escorted her to her car, carrying the shopping bags in my hands.
"Why do you have a bouquet of roses?" I asked as I put the bags in the back.
"Those are for Zylan. Mom sent me to take them for him," she replied.
"Oh I see," I nodded.
"Yeah. She's so obsessed with him these days," she rolled her eyes, chuckling.
"What about you though?" I asked without thinking much about it.
"Huh?" She looked at me, confused.
"Do you like him?" I asked. She glanced at me then chuckled.
"So she was right," she looked me straight in the eye, "you do have a crush on me."
"Who was right?"
"Gina," she replied, "she told me about it but, I didn't believe her."
"Just because I asked doesn't mean I like you," I raised an eyebrow at her.
"I know it's true," she looked up at me, "I confirmed my doubts when I saw that you were checking my conversation with him. You left the app open so it showed."
"Lucas," she softened her tone, "I'm pregnant for someone else."
"So what?" I asked, "so what if you're pregnant for someone else?"
