-Zylith-

I was woken up by the sound of my phone ringing. I turned in my bed, ignoring it. Whoever it was could wait I wanted to sleep.

The constant buzzing made me get up. I reached for it on the nightstand while looking outside through the window. It was pouring outside.

The caller ID made all the sleep in my eyes disappear. He was the last person I expected to call me.

OTC

"Hello," I answered.

"I'm outside."

"What outside?" I asked, confused.

"Outside Lucas' house," he replied.

"Come outside before I change my mind," the call disconnected even before I could say a word.

I stood up and looked outside through my window. There was a black car parked outside the gate.

I went to Gina's room and told her about the situation. She got two umbrellas and escorted me to the front gate.

"I'll be waiting for you in the living room," she walked back to the house while I stood there staring at the black sports car parked outside the gate.

He opened the passenger's seat door from the inside. I hurriedly got in, closing the umbrella.

"Ah my hair," I internally complained. Black people hair was the worst when it came to drying it.

Zylan looked at me without saying a word.

"Uhmm, is everything alright?" I asked.

"Yes it is," he replied.

"Oh my gosh Zylan!" I exclaimed, "your breath reeks of alcohol."

"Why are you even driving. You shouldn't be driving," I scolded.

"Hey. Don't scold me. I'm an adult I know what I'm doing," he sluggishly pointed at me. I just stared in silence.

While still in his seat, he moved closer to me. I moved back to avoid his face. I knew what he was trying to do.

"Zylan stop it," I looked away, "you're drunk."

"Am I that annoying to you?" He asked.

"Why do you see the worst in me just like many people do?"

"Maybe that's why she left."

"I can't believe you chose to stay with him," he hiccuped, "over me."

"You easily left the way she did."

"Zylan you're drunk. Stop talking. You sound very stupid right now," I finally spoke.

Without warning, he shoved his lips onto mine. I pushed him away with all of my strength and slapped him.

"Are you out of your mind!" I shouted, "what is wrong with you?"

He roughly grabbed me by the shoulders and forced himself on me. His grip was too strong that it made my shoulders ache. With all my strength, I pushed him again and got out of the car.

"Don't ever call me again you psycho!" I shut the door and turned around to leave. I ran back to the house because I had forgotten the umbrella in the car and there was no way I was going back.

"Hey. What happened?" Lucas looked at me as I got in, "you're drenched."

"Nothing, I forgot the umbrella," I replied, clearing my throat. "Where is Gina?"
