CHAPTER TWENTY

The Next Day

Everyone got up early in the morning and went exploring Buzios. Zylith was having her morning sickness episodes again so she decided to stay back for a bit. Judy and Jermaine stayed behind with her.

"You guys can go, I'll join you later," she assured them.

"We aren't leaving without you. Just feel better quickly okay?" Judy patted her on her back.

"Can I have some water please," Zylith asked, flushing the toilet.

"Okay," Judy dashed downstairs. She went to the kitchen to get a water bottle and ended up bumping into Zylan.

"You're still here?" She asked.

"I was about to head out. Why are you here?" He replied and asked another question.

"Oh, it's Zylith. She's having morning sickness," Judy replied.

"Oh I see," he nodded.

She went back upstairs and grinned at Zylith. She gave her the bottle of water and said, "remember what you said about being okay with us leaving you?"

"Yeah," she replied.

"Good, because we are leaving you."

"What?" Zylith glared at her, "what happened to whores before bros?" Judy pointed at the door and whispered, "Zylan offered to stay with you, have fun."

"Let's go," she pulled Jermaine out of the room.

"Are you sure she'll be fine?" Jermaine asked, concerned.

"Yes she will. Let's go," Judy replied.

Zylan walked into the room and looked at Zylith who was holding a bottle of water in her hand.

"Good morning," he smiled, tilting his head.

"Morning," she replied.

"Heard my small muffin was sick," he walked a few steps into the room, hands in his pockets.

"My small muffin?" Zylith asked herself.

"So I came to check up on her," he added.

"I'm not sick. It's just some normal stuff."

"It's called morning sickness for a reason," he walked a few steps closer to her. She was about to say something when her phone rang. She walked over to the bed and picked it up. It was Gina and she was requesting a video chat via Instagram. She tapped on the green button and slightly moved it from her face to get a better view.

"Hi, Zylith!" Gina waved.

"Hi Hunny, how are you?" she greeted.

"I am good and you?" Gina replied.

"I'm alright," she replied.

"Lucas wants to talk to you, please talk to him or he won't stop bugging me," Gina begged. Zylith gritted her teeth and glanced at Zylan.

"Pleeeease," Gina begged.

"Fine. Just a minute though," she replied, unsure of her decision.

He got the phone from her hands and said, "Hey."

"Make it quick," she said, almost in a whisper.

He sighed and then said, "I'm sorry for snapping at you the other day. I didn't mean to say all that shit. I was pissed but, I wasn't lying when I said that I love you."

Zylan's eyes grew wide as he heard their conversation.

"Lucas, can we talk about this when I get back, yeah?" She tried to stop him from saying too much.
