The ride to Hogwarts was fairly quiet except for the occasional whispers of the three that they obviously wanted to discuss in private, but they couldn't bring themselves to as there were other people occupying the area.
To be fairly honest, I don't care about any of those shit. I always have a lot to think of, occupying my mind to the point that I'm not aware of what's happening around me. I always write something in my notebook as I can't bring my laptop to this boarding school, unlike my previous school in America.
I froze as the thought of that place where she is came across my mind again. It always does when I think about her.
Sometimes I want to jump off a cliff hoping not to die, but to have an amnesia instead so that I'll forget about her, but my mother would be in hysteric if I do that so, I won't ever try to.
The girl I brought with me in the compartment suddenly snapped me out of my thoughts when she leaned her head on my shoulder.
The sleepyhead didn't even wake up to every jolt of the train, she would just snuggle into my shoulder blade even more, mumbling something I couldn't comprehend, and I can't bring myself to interrupt her peaceful sleep just because I am not comfortable with physical contact with another being other than a handshake so I just let her be. To think about it, she could've gone along with her friends who came to disturb the other three earlier but she didn't and for what reason? I don't even know.
With nothing else to do, considering the fact that I can't write in my journal without waking her up, I just admired the sight. The sight that's on my shoulder.
She's quite pretty. Minus the fact that she glare a lot, frown like crazy, and snapped at me for almost a hundred times in our first encounter. But she looks so peaceful right at the moment, if only she's that peaceful when she's awake. I chuckled lightly, making her shift a bit but did not wake up just yet.
The train stopped, making the awake people in compartment take it as a sign that we had reached the destination. Hermione, seeing the state that I was in, smiled at me sympathetically, "You want me to wake her up? We've arrived."
I dismissed her with a light shook of my head, "It's quite fine, I can handle her but will you help me with my things? I can't bring it with me while I'll carry her."
Hermione's eyes went wide a bit at I was insinuating, but shook her head as well. "We don't have to carry it, the staff will handle it and bring it to our respective dorms."
I nodded my head in understanding, "I see. Well, looks like I'll only handle this little grump. Lead the way Miss Granger."
I softly got a hold of the feisty girl's head and carried her bridal style, making my step feel lighter like it used to be not to wake up the sleeping beauty.
"You know, you can just wake her up." Says the red-headed boy. "If she knew you were carrying her, you'll be a dead meat." As we walk to a carriage with nothing pulling it through but somehow moving.
A foreign chuckle comes out of me once again, "Let me handle her wrath Mr. Weasley." Stepping into the carriage, placing the girl on my lap while I tuck her head on my shoulder safely.
Harry Potter look at me from across the carriage as he speaks, "Slytherins are known for their cruelty Ms. Valerian, thought you should know."
I just nodded at his comment, not understanding what's got to do with the situation I am in. But when I think about it, they have different colors of ties and linings of robes. Miss Grump has the green one and the other three have red. Maybe that's what he meant but I don't want to judge the character of a person just because of their tie so I didn't comment on his statement.
As soon as the carriage stopped, I carefully descended on it as well, looking up at the entrance of the palace that is more enchanting than the previous one. I was in awe of it, but a slight push on my back snapped me out of it. "We have to go now to the Great Hall for the ceremony, Ms. Valerian." Harry Potter said gently.
I look at him nodding, never minding the curious glances of the squirts giving me, maybe they are just curious as to why I am carrying a lady.
"Into the Great Hall, you lot." A voice rung through the Hallway, as we walk into it. A Professor as it may seem, with a gentle smile looking up at me, "Oh it's nice to meet you Ms. Valerian, I'm Professor McGonagall. Why are you carrying Ms. Parkinson?"
"A pleasure to meet you as well, ma'am. And oh," I chuckled, glancing down at the sleeping beauty, so that's her surname huh. "She's tired and asleep, I don't want to wake her up."
With a gentle smile, she dismissed it, guiding us through the Great Hall. "If you see a table with a green tied students, you can place her there if you'd like. With regards to your house, we'll sort you out after the first years."
"Its fine Professor, thank you." I said, entering the Great Hall while I followed the three once more and gently take a seat from the table that they're in.
Did she take a pill? Why isn't she waking up? Is she sick? I thought, glancing down at her with furrowed eyebrows.
"Why are you carrying Pansy? No one should touch her other than me." A snobby voice from the table at the back said.
Somehow, the last sentence that he said didn't sit well with me. It filled me with a sudden discomfort just by thinking of someone touching her other than me. I glance to my left not bothering in turning around and asked monotonously, "Is she your property?"
"No."
"Then shut the fuck up." I scowled at him, giving him a glare, making the other students sith green ties let out a gasp in disbelief.
"How dare you, you filthy bloodtraitor! My father will hear about this!" he stomped angrily while I rolled my eyes at his childishness.
"Don't mind him, he's always been that petty." A voice that belongs to the person I thought was sleeping, suddenly spoke. "I'm awake ever since carriage."
Oh she did not just.
I chuckled in disbelief but stopped as she leant on my shoulder and hotly whispered in my ear, kissing it a bit, trailing her hand to my abdomen, making my something down there jolt, "But because of this, you're mine now, and I'll do what I want with you."
With a hint of possessiveness, she grinded her ass on me once, feeling something no one should know, but somehow she figured out and kissed the corner of my lips. She stood up eyeing me one more time, with a lustful gaze while biting her lower lip and cat walked to the table opposite to me.
Huh, interesting. Stand down, buddy.
