I feel aggravated.

I feel as though I was robbed of my own free will.

The smoldering fury inside of me was threatening to come out as I took a menacing step towards the person I know, responsible for this turn of events.

Eloise was smirking at me. An evil glint of amusement was present in her eyes as if watching me in my furious state was the most fascinating scene she’ve ever seen in a long time.

“You fucking did this didn’t you?” I growled lowly as I balled my fists, my arms hanging tensely on each side of my body. “You put my name on the Goblet of fire. That was the other paper was for.”

A devilish chuckle break out of her. She look at me innocently that I know all too well that was as fake as her eyelashes. “You think so lowly of me, Alex.“

My nails dig on my palm for how hard i was cleching my fist. I was so sure that I would've bang her head on the table when a tug on my arm brought me out of my murderous thoughts. In my stiff stupor, I glance at the person to see my girlfriend and my friends glaring daggers to the she-devil.

Pansy tilted her head up to me before motioning towards the door of the champions. “You have to go now, darling. They are waiting for you.”

Hugging my stiff body tightly, Pansy pushed me towards Dumbledore’s awaiting figure who was beaming at me with pride, not at all reading what transpired the seconds prior. “Congratulations Ms. Valerian.”

Shaking his hand, I give him a tight smile to only come out as a grimace before looking back at my worried girlfriend to give her to assure her with a forced smile on my face and stride begrudgingly towards the door.

Entering the door, I was met by the other two champions who shared a look at my arrival but I couldn’t care less. I was still wrapped up on my own thoughts to care for them and my body was still seething from anger directed towards my ex who wouldn’t fucking leave me alone.

I was grumbling curses when a hand take a hold of my arm making me jerk away from the unfamiliar contact. Turning my head towards the person, I felt my blood boiling again at the familiar face who was looking at me with nothing but amusement in his face.

“Don’t fucking touch me!” i snapped, before shoving him back.

He took another step forward, raising his arms up in mock surrender. His eyes trained to mine in desperate attempt to coax me. “I didn’t came here to fight, or to ruin your life the way that I did before. I’m just here for the competition, nothing else.”

Scoffing, I look at him scornfully. Not at believing whatever he just said. For all I know, he was still just the immature brat he was before when I last so him. “Oh yeah? Like hell would I believe you.”

He huffed. His face contorting with discomfort at my hostility. “Come on Alex. Are you still on with what happened before? It was a long time ago and I totally changed. And I said I was sorry.” He complained, his thick Russian accent prominent on his voice making it hard for me to understand him.

Rolling my eyes, I stood on my ground. “It would do you some good if you stay away from me, Victor." I spat his name with disgust and continued. "I’m not the pathetic child that I was before and I can take you on any day if you pull another trick on me again and don’t fucking forget that you’re in my territory.”

"I see." His eyes darkened like it did when we were children whenever I tried to fight back from his bullying tendencies before a smirk over took his mouth. It just proving me that he did not at all change. It was the same look he wore when i challenged him into duel when we were kids and only for him to use an unforgivable curse and put the blame on me. He was so immature like a fucking toddler even when he was at the age of 12 at that time.
