"Mom, will you be okay?" I asked my mother, Victoria, as we stood at the Platform 9 3/4 with a frown written across my face.

I always worry about her, no matter what she says. With a teary smile, she engulfed me with a hug that always keeps me warm and safe. "I'll be okay darling. I will be. You will write to me every chance you can get okay?" she said, while giving me a pointed look that she always give when she wants me to do exactly what she she says.

"Your father told me that there's a big event that will be happening at Hogwarts and that includes a Ball. Remember what I told you about Balls dear? Oh don't roll your eyes at me young lady." My mother reprimanded and I instantly gave her a sheepish smile that she tried hard not to laugh at.

"You always do that when we talk about dances. You'll be fine, dear. Owl me when you want to buy a suit for yourself because I know you won't go for a dress, so that I can accompany you."

"Yes mom, I'll be doing that. God knows I can't pick clothes for myself." I sarcastically said while giving her a smile that only reserved for her. "I'll miss you, mom."

She tried hard not to burst into tears but she can't help herself, she engulfed me again with another tight hug. "I'll miss you too darling. You know your father will miss you too, right?"

"Of course mom, he bid his farewell to me this morning, said he couldn't been more proud of me." I said beaming at her with my rare smile.

"We are, honey. Take care of yourself okay? And don't skip meals please." She said, pleading me with her eyes.

"Yes mom. I gotta go now, the train is about to leave." I said, hugging her with all my might and kissed her cheek. "I love you. I'll see you at Christmas."

"No, you won't." She mumbled, pushing me to the entrance of the train with a cheeky grin.

I stood at the entrance with a frown on my face, clutching on to the near steal I could hold, "what do you mean mom?" I yelled as the train slowly depart.

"You'll see. I love you Alexandria. Be safe." She said while waving at me.

I shook my head at my mom's cheeky attitude mumbling 'unbelievable' while waving at her back.

Turning to my right, I bump into someone foot shorter than I am. " I'm sorry miss. Are you alright?" I asked worriedly, taking a hold of her shoulder to steady her.

Glancing at her, I notice she has tears falling from her pretty eyes while sniffs furiously, docking her head in the process. "I'm fine, will you let go of my fucking shoulder?" said the pixie headed pretty girl, snapping me out of my trance.

"Well, that's not very nice is it?" I raised my eyebrows at her hostility, giving her my cold shoulder as well, but not letting her go just yet. Wouldn't want her to roll over the train at it's speed now would I? An

She creased her eyebrows at me question, wiping her tears while looking up at me. "Don't you know who I am? Aren't you afraid of me? And what's with your accent?" The chatterbox questioned me, puzzled.

"Well ma'am, I'm not from around here so I won't exactly know you." I said, brushing her third question, guiding her to a compartment that I saw with just a few occupants in it. "Oh hello, can we sit here?"

There's a moment of pause when a bushy haired girl nodded her head frantically and looks at me with her shining eyes. "Oh yes of course. You can."

I nodded at her, guiding a now muted feisty girl that I brought along with me to a seat and occupiedmthe seat near her. Glancing at her, never minding the awkwardness of the place. "So..."

"Why did you bring me here?" the little feisty glared daggers at me while crossing her arms to emphasize how stubborn she is and side eyed the people around her.

I raised my eyebrows at her hostility and crossed my arms as well, never backing down to a fight. "Well, I don't want you to roll over the train so I brought you here. Got any problems with that?"

We glared at it each other for it fet like an hour, my stubbornness getting the best of me when a clearing of throat snapped us out of it.

"Who are you?" a red-headed boy asked with wonder in his voice, making me glance at him.

I raised my eyebrows at him as well while saying. "Wouldn't you like to know."

The boy gave me an offended frown mumbling 'rude' but not saying anything more, making me want to chuckle at him. "If you are really interested, I am Alexandria Valerian, a transferee."

The bushy haired girl in the compartment let out a girly scream and blushed furiously, "I knew it, I knew it! Sweet Merlin. Never in my life thought I would meet you here on the train for Hogwarts!" she said, gushing over me.

I smiled right back to her, a smile that I reserved for my readers alone, "Its nice to meet someone who appreciates my works as well. You are?" handing her my right hand.

"Hermione Granger. A pleasure to meet a poetic person who made my summer so much better just by reading her artworks. And oh my Godric, your books are quite enchanting. I even ask my parents to buy all the series of your books as Christmas presents." She said, beaming up at me while shaking my hand furiously.

The red-head boy shook his head, embarrassed, before mumbling. "'Mione get a grip."

I let out a foreign chuckle as I let go of her han. "It's fine. Like I said, I always appreciate people who enjoy my work. What are your names again?" I asked, changing the topic.

A boy with overgrown raven hair steps in, giving me his right hand before introducing himself, "I'm Harry Potter. A fan too, but not as crazy as she is." Pointing at Hermione while chuckling, making the girl shot him a glare.

"We'll er, I'm Ronald Weasley. I'm sorry I don't really know you just like this two do." Giving me an apologetic gaze, he shook my hand as well.

I brushed it off, not making a big deal out of it. "Its fine, wouldn't expect everyone to."

"And who are you exactly?"

For a moment there I forgot there's another person in the compartment except us four when the girl that I brought along with me spoke up.

"Wouldn't you like to know." I sassed back, not giving in to her snappy attitude I replied with a roll of my eyes, making her glare at me once more.

"I suppose introduction is not up between us huh?" the feisty girl haughtily asked, making me reply in the same manner as her.

"I suppose."

There's always a part of me that doesn't give a damn with the people with an attitude problem like her, but that doesn't mean that it didn't get to me sometimes. If you give me the cold shoulder, I'll give you mine. When you snap at me, I'll gladly do as well. I won't let other people trample me, have control and walk all over me once more.

Not again.

Even if you're as beautiful as this feisty being I am looking at right now.
