The Call of Home

Chapter 3

Nya's pov:

Nya had been so worried when she and the others had received the message from the guys, but the more time it passed the more her worries grow. What if they were too late? What if any of them was badly injured?

Nya couldn't help those thoughts, so she was going as fast as she could to reach them on time. Pixal, Master Wu and Garmadon were with her, she could heard them when the vehicle flow throw the streets.

At her side was Lloyd, he was going on his bike while Zane was far ahead of them in his jet. Nya had send him to check on the situation there and clear the way, all they knew was there were an army of Oni were Kai had told them they would be. 

The things was that Zane couldn't spot them from far, so he had landed and started to look for them, he had said he would let them know as soon as he spotted them. Just as they got to the Borg Tower, many Onis turned to face them, but this wasn't the best time for that. Nya wouldn't let them stop her from reaching the others.

"Oh, you won't" Nya said angrily to her self, she then activated the weapons the vehicle had and threw the vehicle to battle. The rest of her companions ended up jumping and trying to not go from one side of the vehicle to the other. "Nya" Wu said trying to get her attention, of course that didn't worked. Nya was stubborn and right now, the only thing on her mind was to get to the others.

It was fairly easy to get rid of the Onis that way. So once they weren't any more Onis to battle with, she didn't waste a second and get off the vehicle. Wu, Pixal and Garmadon followed her closely behind, Lloyd also joined them once they were outside. Just then, they received a call from Zane.Nya was the first to answer.

"Zane, tell me you find them" It was clear the worry on her voice.

"Affirmative, I have Kai & Cole on my sight. But I can't seem to find Jay" he said, his voice calmy to try to calm down Nya. That didn't work. "Go help them, we'll look for Jay and get to you as soon as we can" Lloyd declared.

But before Nya could even give a step to go and look for her boyfriend. She saw him in front of her, flying and crashing with a car. Nya immediately went after him, who was now laying on the ground. She turned him so he could rest his head on her lap.

"Nya..?" Jay asked. He was now trying to sit up. No evident injuries for Nya's relief.

"Yes Jay, it's me. Oh! You got me so worried!" She said as she hitted his arm and grapped him in a hug. Jay just smiled and returned the hug. Once they were done, they both stood up.

"Good to see you in one piece" Lloyd said, trying to light up the mood. "Yeah, I'm glad to be in one piece too" Jay said, gaining some laughs from the others. But just at it Cole, Kai and Zane came in running. And army of Onis were after them.

Of course, Nya had been so distracted on checking Jay she hadn't notice that the Onis weren't back. But now she knew where they had gone, after her brother and his friends. Although, once the three ninjas were a bit closer, Garmadon appeared out of nothing. He used Aspheera's staff and created a wave of power that sent the Onis flying to who knows where, although some of them crashed with the buildings. The strange part was that they did not fall, but exploded into a strange substance.

"Gros" was all that Kai mumbled as he looked to the substance that now lay on the floor. Zane by the other side seemed intrigued. He walked close to the substance; in just a moment his eyes widen in shock. Garmadon was just looking at the substance from where he was but grunted at it.

What was that? Was there something Nya wasn't aware of? However, Zane started talking before she could even ask. "This things are not Onis, they are made of dark matter"

With that, they all gasped in shocked. Dark Matter? How? That only existed on the dark island. And how could that even be here in Ninjago in some sort of warriors?

"Dark matter? Like the one the Overlord used? That dark matter? " Jay asked. Clearly worried about it.

"I'm afraid so" Zane said as he stood up and join his friends. "The question here is how is that possible" Wu said then, looking at his brother as he did so.

"I have no idea" Garmadon said "I didn't even know dark matter could do that"

"Well, that's because it can't" a familiar voice said. Nya had hear it before, and that was exactly what worried Nya the most. She turned around to find who had said that. Nothing, she couldn't see anyone there. But that was when 2 silhouettes came out of a street.

Nya's eyes widen in shock at seen who it was. "Well, at least not normally" This time a different voice. 

It was Krux who had talked, and by his side his brother Acronix. They were wearing the same clothes as the last time the Ninja had saw them. But how could they manage to return? How did they know of the dark matter? How could they build this things?! 

There were many questions and unfortunately not many answers. Nya hated that.

"But oh well, they said you can learn so much from the past. Well, I must agree with that" another voice said. Nya recognized it right away. Nadakan. 

She turned to see Jay, and sure enough he was even more shocked than before. Breathing heavily and stumbling back. She placed her hand on his shoulder, she could feel how he was trying to keep his cool so when he turned to face her, she gave him an encouraging smile, though her worry didn't hide. He gave her a weak smile and placed his hand on hers taking a deep breath to calm down.

"Oh, how lovely" Nadakan said, now appearing aside the time twins. "But I don't know you guys, I feel like someone is missing, don't you?" he said, now directing to the time twins. They both nodded with a smirk on their face

Lloyd stepped forward "I don't know how you are back, but you won't get away with this" he declared. "We have stopped you once, we'll do it again"

"oh really?" another voice said then. Nya could see how Lloyd stiffened at the voice. She recognized it too. But how could that be? It was literally imposible!

"Hello Lloyd, missed me?" Harumi asked, a smirk on her face. She was now at the other side of the time twins. "No...." was onlything Lloyd could said.
