News broke out of Captain America and a woman with powers. The senator ordered Steve to start performing to sell war bonds with Diana at his side as a chorus girl. The senator wanted to keep everything hushed about Diana so he payed off anyone who saw her.
But she wouldn't be a chorus girl any longer.
Diana was tearing up her chorus girl costume when Steve rushes in with a bag. "Let's go...."
"Where?" She transforms her clothes into her armor as she stands.
"We're rescuing Bucky and the rest of the one-oh-seventh. Secret mission." He grabs a helmet and goes out of the tent.
Peggy rushes over to Steve and Diana, "You heard the Colonel. Your friend is most likely dead. You don't know that. Even so, he's devising a strategy. If he detects..."
"By the time he's done that, it could be too late." Steve walks past her to a keep.
"Steve!"
"You told me you thought Diana and I were meant for more than this. Did you mean that?" He turns to her.
"Every word."
"Then you got to let us go." He sighs.
She softly smiles, "I can do more than that."
Peggy had gotten ahold of Howard, they got a plane and were flying the two to rescue the One-oh-seventh. "The Hydra camp is in Krausberg, tucked between these two mountain ranges. It's a factory of some kind. We should be able to drop you right on the doorstep." Peggy points at a map.
"Just get us as close as you can. You two are gonna be in a lot of trouble when you land." Steve nods.
"And you won't?"
"Where we're going, if anybody yells at us, I can just shoot them and she can blast them." He chuckles.
"They will undoubtedly shoot back."
Steve knocks on his shield, "Well, let's hope it's good for something."
"Agent Carter? If we're not in too much of a hurry, I thought we could stop off in Lucerne for a late-night fondue." S
Howard yells back.
Steve friend, looking at Peggy in confusion. "Stark is the best civilian pilot I've ever seen. He's mad enough to brave this airspace. We're lucky to have him."
"So, are you two... Do you... ...fondue?" Steve points between them.
Peggy ignores him, "This is your transponder. Activate it when you're ready and the signal will lead us straight to you."
Diana grabs it and holds it up, "Are you sure this thing works?"
"It's been tested more than you two." Howard turns.
Suddenly their plane is shot at, making Steve and Diana stand and rush over and open the side door. He quickly puts in a parachute. "Get back here! We're taking you all the way in!" Peggy yells.
"As soon as we're clear, you turn this thing around and get the hell out of here!" Steve yells.
"You can't give me orders!"
