Mind Control - OC X BUCKY BARNES

Chapter 12

Diana angrily flew into New York, seeing Loki's army already taking over. She spots him on the tower fighting Thor, she tackles him down as he stabs Thor, blasting his side.

"Stop this! You know deep down this isn't right!" She yells.

"I can't stop it now." He quickly jumps off and lands on a flying chariot.

"Can't you control them, make them leave?" Thor holds his side as he stands.

"Only a small group...I don't have my spell book and I can't remember the spell for that many."  She shakes her head, looking at the device creating the portal, she tries to use her power to stop it but fails. "Come on."

Diana Leaps off the tower, landing below next to Steve and blasting an alien. She smiles as she sees Clint, quickly hugging him. "What's the story upstairs?"

"The power surrounding the Cube is impenetrable." Diana sighs.

"She's right. We got to deal with these guys." Tony says in their ear pieces.

"How do we do this?"

"As a team." Steve nods.

"I have unfinished business with Loki." Thor looks up.

"Yeah? Well, get in line."

"Save it. Loki's going to keep this fight focused on us, and that's what we need. Without him, these things could run wild. We got Stark up top. He's going to need us to..." Steve turns as Bruce gets off a small motorbike.

"So, this all seems horrible." Bruce looks around.

"I've seen worse." Natasha nods.

"Sorry."

She slightly smiles, "No, we could use a little worse."

Steve smiles, "Stark, we got him."

"Banner?"

"Just like you said." He nods.

"Then tell him to suit up. I'm bringing the party to you."

The group turns to see Tony leading a Leviathan down the street. "I don't see how that's a party."

"Dr Banner. Now might be a really good time for you to get angry." Steve says as Banner walks to it.

"That's my secret, Captain. I'm always angry." He turns, skin stretching and turning green as he transforms into the Hulk, immediately punching the leviathan.

Tony boasts its soft spot, creating a large explosion. Diana covers Clint, standing back up and looking as hundred more aliens flood out of the portal.

"Call it, Captain." Tony says.

"All right, listen up. Until we can close that portal, our priority is containment. Barton, I want you on that roof. Eyes on everything. Call out patterns and strays. Stark, you got the perimeter. Anything gets more than three blocks out, you turn it back or you turn it to ash."

"Can you give me a lift?" Clint asks.

"Right. Better clench up, Legolas." They fly off.

"Thor, you got to try and bottleneck that portal. Slow them down. You got the lightning. Light the bastards up. Diana, I want you in the sky, try and blast them before they reach the portal."

Diana nods and flies up. Twisting and turning as she blasts the flying chariots. She flips back as another leviathan flies out, creating a sword of her power and plunging it deep within its armor and dragging it down its side. The leviathan falls down, she looks at the portal and tilts her head. "Attack." She controls a group of aliens. They turn back and start firing on their own people. She tries her best to hold her spell for nearly ten minutes, but without the actual spell itself from her book, she wouldn't be able to hold it long.
