Diana loved living in Brooklyn, she was closer to Tony now that he built Stark Tower but he was always too busy to see her. She loved that Steve was still living with her, made her think of the old times.

But this happiness wasn't gonna last....aliens were invading New York and Diana was gonna find out her past.

Steve comes home from his very early morning workout, he walks into the back porch where Diana was drinking coffee and reading a book and hands Her a tablet. "This was dropped off...the Tessersct was stolen."

"By who?" Diana quickly looks through the files, seeing the "Avengers Initiative" project.

"Guy named Loki from another world." He wipes his face with arms towel and takes a sip of her coffee. "A few agents are gonna get us."

"We never should have kept the tesseract...I was against it the moment they found it." She stands, summoning her armor. "Steve I feel it's power....it's not meant for this world."

Diana follows him inside, "We've got fifteen minutes. I'm gonna shower." Steve walks off, leaving Diana in the kitchen alone. She knew he wasn't ready to go back to fighting just yet. She knew because of the nightmares he had at night of the day he "died".

Fifteen minutes later, two Shield agents drive to a secret hangar where a quintet was waiting. Diana instantly smiles and runs up the ramp. "Phil!" She hugs him.

"Hey Diana!" He laughs hugging her back. "How the most beautiful Enchantress doing today?" He pulls back to look her over.

Diana adored Phil since the moment she met him, she knew that he fell in love with her the moment he started at Shield but understood her love for Bucky. So the two became family.

"Oh stop it, Phill." She laughs, squeezing his hand. "I've missed you terribly."

"We'll it's time to come back to work..." he says warily, looking  up as Steve walks over to them. "Captain, it's a great honor to meet you." They shake hands.

"Nice too meet you as well." Steve smiles and sits.

Diana looks over the files with Steve during the flight, all of them staying silent until he gets to Bruce Banners file. "So, this Dr Banner was trying to replicate the serum they used on me?" Steve asks.

"A lot of people were. Especially in the fifties." Diana nods.

"You both were the world's first superhero's. Everyone wanted to be like you." Phil adds.

"Did people try to get your blood?" Steve asks Diana.

"We had a few undercover spies that joined Shield back then...they would try and get me during a vulnerable moment....one time a man almost got away until blasted him into the sun." She says without looking away from the file. "But....Banner thought gamma radiation might hold the key to unlocking Erskine's original formula."

Steve looks back at the file, "Didn't really go his way, did it?"

"Not so much. But he's really sweet. I've met him once." Diana nod.

"When he's not that thing, though, the guy's like a Stephen Hawking." Phil adds, making Steve look up in confusion. "He's like a smart person....I gotta say, it's an honour to meet you officially. I've sort of met you. I mean, I watched you while you were sleeping." Diana puts her hand over her face as Steve stands and looks outside. "I mean, I was present while you were unconscious from the ice....You know, it's really just a huge honour to have you on board..."
