Raven Chota was a Navajo baby Early found and was raised as one of our own. He was given a Cherokee name and joined the Aniwaya Clan (wolf clan). He was also a skin walker. There are many stories of the skin walkers. Raven's skin walker talent was a rare one. He could take on the look of the person and their personality. Before he did that, he walks their dreams learning everything about them, all their knowledge would become his. He devoured their nightmares making them real for them. He made them paralyzed with fear taking over their bodies. He would become one with that person learning everything he needed to impersonate them. Today I couldn't be happier he was here. But if he is here that meant something is wrong.

I took his sign to be quiet seriously. I slowly walked over to lock my bedroom door and led him to my closet. I locked the closet door and hugged him. He returned the hug squeezing me tightly. He smelled of the earth, like home. I missed it so much. The smell of the dirt always made me happy.

I leaned back still holding his shoulders looking at him, "What brings you here?"

"Our people, our town, everyone is missing. I am the only one left, and I barely escaped. They came in the night and took everyone."

"What? Who? When?" I felt sick. How could this happen?

"I never saw their faces. They wore all black with black masks a red circle symbol was on the forehead of each one. They came in with large cages separating the men from the women and children. There were so many Lumi. I took form of the black bird and watched. The cages were electric, no one could escape. It was like the stories from the past."

"I only knew you were being held here because of Nicki Nitro's men."

Raven was visibly shaken.

"Wait, Nicki never made it back?"

"No, she has been missing."

"That means Wrangler. Fuck. Wrangler never came back?"

"No, she never came back."

"Lumi, is it true you are the one with fire and lighting?"

"Yes Raven. I am her. There is something else I need to show you. I ask that you please not be scared, I will NEVER hurt my people."

He looked at me strange and backed up giving me a nod. I slipped my ring off my finger and felt my body transform. Raven's eyes widened. His body stiffened at the sight of me.

"Inada." (snake) Raven's eyes were wide at my appearance.

"Yes, but I'm not wicked Raven I promise. Please do not fear me."

"You were kissed by the Inada (snake) Lumi this is never good. We must get you help."

"I can't get out. I need you to stay here with me. We need to figure out what has happened to our people. There is someone here, on the inside that is powerful enough to call skadegamutes. They have the mansion surrounded forming a binding barrier. It's keeping me inside and Cye is unexpecting of them. We need to find out who it is."

"I will stay. I don't particularly like being a little old lady though."

I laughed and slipped my ring back on.

"Well, at least you can help me make a fantastic dress for the party."

The worry on his face was heart breaking. I knew this was hard for him. The youngest of our people, and so much weighing on him now.

"You must rest so you can skin walk, stay in here. I will come back in a bit."

As I walked out of my closet, I locked it behind me. I placed my hand on the door and took a deep breath trying not to cry. This was worse than I thought, I should have never agreed to come here. I should have never left my district. I have put everyone in danger. I needed to walk the mansion to see if the barrier had any breaks anywhere. I need to find a way out. I slipped on my running pants, pink Nikes and a half shirt that said have nice day now fuck off. It felt fitting for the moment. I locked my bedroom door and headed down the hallway.

I began by heading back to the Mercy Brown room. I knew there had to be something in this room, a clue anything that would lead me to where my people were. As I approached the room, I heard voices whispering. One was male the other a female. The male sounded angry. I walked into the room there was no one there. The voices were gone. I must be going mad. I walked slowly around the room looking at every picture a little closer. Inspecting each one. I came to the one of all the family members. Cye with Samara and Mercy. Looking more closely at it, Samara was more than familiar to me. I knew her.
