OKOKOK SO THIS IS A RANDOM IDEA THAT POPPED INTO MY HEAD AT THE MOST RANDOM TIME.

IT WAS LIKE- *BAM* INSPIRATION.

I JUST HAD TO WRITE THIS.

So basically Anne and Marcy were already dating when this happened, but of course, because of True Colors, when Anne and Y/n are back on Earth, they're still hurt about Marcy, Y/n even more so.

Anyways it'll make sense when we start!

Btw reader is fem (Sorry).

ENJOY!

"No hopping!" Anne reminded Sprig and Hop Pop as they leapt off to find the avocados and toys in Spendco.

Anne and Y/n were on their phones, walking into the store. Out of no where, Mr. Boonchuy whips out a red lightsaber from a nearby stand and points it at the brunette while Y/n jumped out of the way.

Anne gasped, staring at her father holding the red saber and a deactivated blue one in his other hand with a Darth Vader mask on his face. "We meet again, Anne Boonchuy! The only way to save your father is to defeat me!"

Mr. Boonchuy tossed the sword to Anne, who groaned and rolled her eyes. "Ugh. Dad, I'm too old for this."

"Aw, really?" He asked, lifting his mask up in disappointment.

"Nope!" Anne replied, charging forward and clashing blades.

Y/n only watched in amusement, a brow raised with a small smile at the Boonchuys' play fight.

Anne jabbed the lightsaber as Mr. Boonchuy dodged, but within a few seconds, her instincts from Amphibia seemed to kick in as she parkoured off of a few shelves and had her dad pinned to the floor.

Mr. Boonchuy yelped, raising an arm in surrender with his mask half off. "Hey! Go easy on your old man!"

Y/n chuckled, sticking her hands into her maroon hoodie's pockets and continuing to observe with a teasing smirk. "Nice one, Anna-banana. Try to show him mercy, though."

"Whoa! Sorry." Anne backed off in realization of how intense she'd gotten.

Suddenly, Mrs. Boonchuy raced up from behind her daughter, pretending to stab her in the back with a sword that looked... too much like Andrias'. "Gotcha!"

Anne gasped, her expression of fake fear as her mother leaned closer with a black cloak on. "I was your mother the whole time!"

"Space parents are the worst!" Anne exclaimed dramatically, falling to the floor and laughing along with her parents at the ridiculousness.

Y/n, however... had a different reaction. She was frozen in terror, eyes glued to the sword that was wedged in between Anne's arm and her side. She seemed petrified, but shaking slightly with her mouth agape.

She heard ringing in her ears, and her vision started to spin and blur. 'No, no, no, no, no, NO, NO! I- I can't- Marcy- Anne- STABBED-'

She failed to notice the worried voices that seemed to be only hushed, fading whispers.

"Y/n? You doing okay?"

"Are you okay, sweetie?"

"N/n! What's wrong?! Can you hear me?!"

Y/n was frozen for only a moment longer, before tearing away from the family and bolting to any random aisle she could, her eyes brimming with tears. She settled in a gaming and electronics aisle, practically ramming a box on a bottom shelf further into it and climbing in after. She whipped her hood over her h/l h/c hair and pressed her forehead to her tucked-in knees, still quivering as she felt hot tears flow down her cheeks.
