Terror in his eyes, only staring at me swinging my scythe at him, the blade nearly reaching his neck. Before making contact, it bashed into something else, an invisible forcefield, something that had protected him.

Fallen to the ground in fright, he glared off from me to another source to his left. A creature had entered the river, and the differing water crashing around them was nearing us.

"Are you okay?!" They called out to him. It was a woman.

Sam shot up from the ground, cupping some of the nearby spiders, and some had hopped onto his body, crawling up it whilst he ran.

"Yes, panic, run, flee, return another day with an answer to my cruel scythe. For my spiders. Yes, fear me," then I began to chase them. I could hear their panicked voices chattering to one another, wishing for the other to live, explaining what was going on, and confusion. He was confused, yes, yes, be confused, come back for answers. Seek answers. I'll be waiting for you all. For all to witness my return. For you all to die in my hands!

Throwing the scythe at them, it impaled itself into a nearby tree, startling them. The woman and I had made eye contact before she had continued to flee.

"Keep moving!" She screamed, once they made it near the vicinity of the city, they called for help.

"Give me my body back..." she called out to me, wanting it back, desperate to get back what was taken from her.

"Never."

I picked up my scythe before heading back to the cave, to my domain. Ignoring the monsters that roam this place, the many people who had fallen. The humans who've tried to conquer the Spider Queen: Arachna Gray. Me. Or at least, what I used to be. This body isn't equipped with the physical attributes or skill sets to hold up to what I used to have.

Planning to leave for the city, to find myself some clothes of my own. Something close to what I had originally. I knew that if I had fallen asleep, she would try to fight me, even if she would fall. She has until her body would die out to retrieve what is rightfully hers. Yet, it is no longer hers for it is mine until she grows stronger. Then. She'll become the next Arachna Gray. The next generation of Arachna Grays. The heir to the throne of my legacy.

Placing my scythe at the center of this platform, the center point and intersection of all of this domain, the true part of my domain. The giant spiders who protect me skitter about. It needed time to connect to me so I could summon it naturally.

"Why are you doing this?"

"Because it was convenient for the goal that I am pursuing," I glanced at the blade of the scythe. The reflection of it was me, this body, and their eyes had changed, the right became green and the other became purple. Swirls had enveloped the entire eye, there was no pupil, nothing that a normal human would have, it was different

"The barrier between both our souls is closing, Charlotte. Ready or not, we'll become one."

I needed new clothes to better fit the new image I'll have to take.

Entering the city the following day, venturing off to the nearest tailor, hoping that they had something for me. Something for this body, or at the very least, hold something prepared for someone else.

On the way, a jester had reared from the tailor shop, the jingle of the bells on their hat, this cap n' bell. It was beautiful, it was bland, gray and black, filled with whites here and there. I needed that to be my new outfit. Something that would be fitting for this body. For the heir to my legacy.

I followed the jester, keeping a distance from him, hoping that he'd enter an alleyway or somewhere secluded. Waiting for that opportunity, he soon spotted me, he had seen my eyes. Running away slowly, yet keeping his cool. He had entered a nearby store to hide from me and waited a couple of minutes before leaving to enter an alleyway.
