We all woke up to an ear bleeding siren. I sat up in my bed and was completely out of it. I had no idea what the hell was going on. I forced myself out of bed, got my uniform on, grabbed my gun and ran out-side. As I flung open the flaps from the tent, the sky was bright red, brighter than it ever was before. "What the hell is going on?" I asked Ian as he was running past me. "Looks like the war came to us!" He said joining in on the fight.
Bullets were flying past me, men screaming in pain yelling, "medic!" I never had any training for tending to the wounded, but before my dad died he used to teach me how to treat someone and myself when and if I needed it everyday. I miss you dad, I wish we had more time. I thought to myself. Moments later I see a man on the ground, groning and calling for a medic. His left arm and legs were blown off and blood was gushing out of them. I was no doctor, but I immediately knew that that guy didn't have much time to live. But that didn't matter to me, I ran over to help him anyways.
He grabbed my arm, and I looked at him with fear written on my face. He had dark brown hair and brown eyes. He gave me a note that was for his family and with his dying breath he said, "thank you." I sat there in shock holding the bloody piece of paper. I put the note in my pocket, got up and ran as fast as I could, dodging bullets as they flew past me. As I found Ian, Sergeant Cash and the other soldiers hiding behind a barrier, I saw 3 soldiers get shot in the head and fall to the ground as blood oozed out.
The whole camp was in flames now. I was standing about 20 or more feet away from Ian and the others as Ian waved me down to come help. I stood there like a statue, for I wasn't looking at Ian, I was looking at none other than that bastard walter. He was standing right behind Ian and had a look on his face that I just wanted to shoot off or stab a million times and
cut it until all the blood left his face and there was nothing, but bone and flesh, but instead I aimed my gun at him and before I was able to pull the damn trigger, Walter pulled out his pistol
and shot Ian in the arm. Sergeant Cash turned around, startled by the gunshot, but before he could shoot as well, he too was shot and fell to the ground dead.Too shocked to move and too scared to speak, I stood there watching Ian cry out in pain and trying to move away from The Nazi. I wanted to help, but it was like my feet were trapped in cement. Everything disappeared around me and I stood alone. The faint gunshots and muffled screams of pain traveled through the air. It was peaceful, I was out-side and the sky was blue again. There were animals frolicking and birds singing as the bright sun was shining upon my face and as Jerry appeared next to me everything just stopped, everything went quiet.
Jerry was completely healed. His eyes looked sad as if he was about to cry. "Is this real?" I whispered. What he said to me felt like nothing more than a dream he said, "brother, If you are receiving this I have died due to the amount of blood loss and shock, but I know what my purpose is, it's to save you from making the same mistake I did. Don't run away from the people you love, don't try and hide from fear, because fear will always find you, and most importantly when that fear has a hold of you, never show that you're afraid."
When everything faded away to black, I was in a military prison, my gun was gone, but the only thing I had with me was my knife. Minutes later a Nazi came in my cell. He grabs my arm and pulls me forward, in self defense I grab my knife with my other hand and stab him in the stomach. He falls to the ground and with his dying breath says, "Geh zur Hölle." ("Go to hell"). I slit his throat to make sure he was dead then I ran out of my cell leaving the Nazi in a pool of his own blood.
Some time later I found the weapons room, where I hoped they were keeping my gun, but there were 2 guards with Mp-40s blocking the door. I waited for a while to make my move and kill them. 20 minutes pass and I hear them speaking for a minute as one leaves. He probably went to the bathroom. "Perfect." I whispered to myself. The other Nazi's back was turned and I creeped up behind him.
I was right behind him now, my heart was racing a mile per second, I tried steading my breathing but it was too late. The Nazi turned around and before I could think I cut his leg, he fell the the ground and cried out in pain, I rushed to shut him up and before he could make another noise I slit his throat and he drowned in his own blood. I opened the door to the room and took everything I needed. I heard yelling out-side the door as if someone had found the body. I waited for about 5 minutes to see if anyone would come in, but no one did.
I was wasting time, so I opened the door, ran out and shot anyone who was in my way. Smoke bombs went off everywhere, my breathing was so heavy that anyone could have easly located where I was and kill me. A scream went off about 7 feet away from me along with gunshots. That's it. I thought, I have them kill each other.
I threw down more smoke bombs and made my way down a hall to where I heard the gunshots. I heard footsteps coming from behind and in front of me. I stood still and lowered my breathing. If I can't see them then they can't see me neither. I thought. I stood up against a wall out of the way form the Nazis path. As soon as the Nazis collided into eachother, they both shot and at the same time killing one another.
The smoke was fading away and from what I saw, everyone was dead, all but one, and trust me I will kill him and get my revenge. I will find him and make him suffer for what he did to my family and friends.
