The prison gate came flying open, Claire and I shield our eyes from the bright sun. I haven't seen the light of day in years, besides a few holes in the wall there is almost no light in that cell. "It's time for you guys to train," said Walter. "Train for what?" asked Claire. "War." Claire and I exchanged a worried glance at each other, and said, "what?!" Walter grabbed both of us by the arm, and took Claire a way to someplace I didn't know. They took me to the shooting range.
I had a thousand questions but I don't have time to list them all, so I'm going to say a few like, Why am I here? What the hell is happening? And why is the enemy training us to fight my country? A few moments later I arrived at the shooting range and was handed a firearm and a Nazi pointed in the direction to shoot, I looked in the direction and saw a man tied up to a poll blindfolded.
I looked at the Nazi, then at the innocent man, then back at the Nazi and said, "I can't sire, I will not take an innocent man's life."
"You fool!" He yelled as he slapped me across the face as hard as he could. I turned the gun around and pointed it at the Nazi and said, "try that again, and let's see who wins." My cheek was red from the slap, but I showed no pain. "You don't have the balls."
"You don't think so?" I cocked the gun back, aimed it at his head, put my finger on the trigger and shot. Parts of his brain flew out and everyone gasped. 6 Nazis threw me down and beat me until half of my blood was on the ground along with the Nazi's.
They dragged me back to the cell and I waited for hours for Clair to return, but she never did. I shouted her name until my throat hurt like hell, I cried until there were no more tears left for me to cry, mostly because of my wounds from the Nazis beating the living hell out of me.
The next day I was forcefully woken up by 3 Nazis, and they dragged me out of the cell, my knees scraping across the hot asphalt hurt like hell, I stood up and was taken to a building where I saw thousands of injured people. The war hasn't started yet, has it? I thought to myself.
I saw Claire tending to the wounded, giving them food and water, she wore what seemed to have looked like a blue nightgown. I wasn't so sure of what it was. I saw more of her face now and she was beautiful, she had dark brown hair, green glasses, brown eyes and darkish skin. I ran towards her and hugged her so tight as if that was going to be our first and last hug.
Walter saw this, broke us from our hug and grabbed my arm and forcefully took me away from Claire. "No!" she yelled. "Take me instead!" He looked at her then threw me down, kicked me in the stomach and took Claire. I wanted to yell, but I couldn't speak, I could barely move. It's been years since I've last been kicked in the stomach, so my body didn't know how to react to it anymore.
I was picked up by two Nazis and they dragged me to a prison cell, and when I woke I wasn't in my own prison cell.A/N
Even though all the prison cells look the same there's someone who makes the cell feel a bit different from my own.
