The adventures of UwU and Senki Chan

Chapter 5

In a dark room, a mysterious figure who only their silhouette can be seen. Chameleon walks in, unable to look at the mysterious figure.

"I see you have arrived." He says. "Did you come with the cat ears?"

"You see sir," He explains. "I almost got them, but the girl's dad struck me so hard i barely escaped thanks to my chameleon powers."

"So you don't have the cat ears?" He responds. 

"Her dad is strong." He explains. "He also defeated me with one strike. Like someone at my rank could do such a thing."

"I sent you for the mission for a reason." The figure explains. "Your power was perfect for the job. But you just had to fuck it up."

"Oh, give me a break boss!" He snaps.

"Give you a break?" He chuckles. "You couldn't even get me cat ears."

"Like you could get them yourself." He mumbles. 

"Anyways," The figure continues. "I've decided to send you on the same mission but with a partner to help you this time. Since you clearly can't do it alone."

"Who is it?" He asks. 

The partner walks in, and she's in dragonfly form. 

"Seriously?" He says with disappointment. "A dragonfly?"

"You're just saying that cause you can't beat me in a fight." She says confidently."

"No need for you to argue." The figure says, getting annoyed. "You are partners. Go find those animals and beat their ass." 

"Yes sir." They both say in unison. 

UwU walks up and gets ready for school. She's a bit afraid for how people are going to react when people see her at school again. She does have more confidence when her cat ears are on, considering the things she had done with them on. 

When she gets on the bus, people murmur. 

"That's the girl who attacked someone on the first day of school."

"That cat girl is dangerous! She could attack someone at any moment!"

She ignored them, and stopped at Senki's seat. He got up and allowed her to sit at the window. She accepted and took the seat. 

"So how have you been?" He asked. "I know it's been tough getting that suspension."

"Actually," She corrects him. "I have been pretty fine. After all, it's one day."

"You're right." He responds. 

They arrive at the school, and more murmurs are sprinkled across the hallway as she arrives at the school. When she enters the classroom, Hana walks up to her.

"You've got real nerve to still be at this school." She says with fury. "To even attempt to attack a beautiful girl like me with your peasant like body disgusts me."

Those words enough would've been all she needed to be provoked enough to attack her again. But UwU is a changed girl. They were going to need more than that to make her angry. She can't afford to attack the average human with the amount of strength she has now. 

She smiles, and Hana is upset by it.

"What are you smiling about, ugly girl?" She says, gaining more anger.

She doesn't respond and goes to her seat. She doesn't have time to talk back to weaklings like her. She maintains the smile all the way to the point that the teacher walks in. 

"Hello students," Mr. Aoi. "Also welcome back UwU. I know it's been hard taking that suspension on the first day of school. How are you feeling?"

"Actually," She corrects her teacher. "I've been doing fine."

Class goes through pretty fast, but a dragonfly comes through the window. It flies around her a little bit, dodging her frequent swats and then going away. 

"That's weird." UwU thinks. She doesn't pay it any mind though. Once 1st period ends, UwU looks at the schedule she was given yesterday. Before she can walk across the school to her class, Senki stops her. 

"What do you want?" She asks. 

"I just wanted to show you to your locker." He said. He does, and it just so happens to be right next to his. She examines the locker, and then walks slightly faster to get to her class on time. 

"See you later!" He says, waving to her as she walks away. She waves back, and continues.

Nothing happens until lunch starts. She heads into the cafeteria and after getting her food, she's put into a conflict. She doesn't know where to sit. She didn't get the chance to get lunch at school the last time she was here so she didn't know where to sit. She examined the cafeteria looking for Senki. She finds him sitting next to Hana and some other popular girls. Definitely not there. 

She looks at the other tables. She didn't know anybody at the tables, so her best bet was to find the most empty table and sit by herself. So that's what she does. Senki looks towards her with worry, which annoys Hana. 

UwU reads Hana's lips.

"Why do you care so much about that weird cat girl?" 

To be honest, UwU wondered the same thing. Why did Senki care about her? She wasn't the average girl, but she wasn't exactly the most desirable one either. Did Senki.... have a crush on her?

Nah, she thought to herself. She dismissed the thought. What a silly thing to think. 

Lunch ends, and she heads to her next period. Skip to the end of the day, and UwU gets dropped off at the front of her house. She sighs and walks up the drive way.

"Got you!" A voice behind her says. 

She turns around quickly and...
