ACT I - Operation Ocean Sun II

The outskirts of North Atlantic Ocean, 1020.

Operation Ocean Sun

Marcus P.O.V.

Operation Ocean Sun has begun. All of the Task Groups are executing phase one of the operation. I look through the tactical map at my Unit's progress. Reaper is now on the ship and defending their position. Blackjack is hovering over, providing overwatch, as planned. I feel like a father seeing their daughters go to school for their first test. I feel like my stomach will turn inside out.

Col. Taylor: "Commander Crane, how's Task Group 3 doing?"

Marcus: "Reaper has hit the deck and currently facing opposition. Blackjack's moving in to assist. What about the other groups?"

Col. Taylor: "Task Group 1's slowly making their way to the commander room. Task Group 2's encountered an automated security system on board, and they are delayed."

Marcus: "Security system? They have those on battleships?"

Col. Taylor: "No. This is sketchy. If they have them.. then the Cargo ship will have them too. The security system is in tight spaces and undercover Commander. Adjust your plans accordingly. I'm mobilizing Task Group 4. We're behind schedule."

Marcus: "Understood."

I quickly change frequencies and contact the task group.

Marcus: [["Task Group 3. Hold your position, we got a situation."]]

Isabella: [["Commander? What happened?"]]

Marcus: [["Task Groups 1 & 2 have encountered Automated Security Systems, they are pinned down and their attack has been halted. Task Group 4 is currently being mobilized due to the operation being behind schedule."]]

Celia: [["Can't we take them out from the sky, Commander?"]]

Marcus: [["Negative. They hid them well, and undercover. Blackjack, rope in and link up with the Reaper squads. Cobra is on station to replace you on overwatch. Once you've hit the deck, you are in charge of detecting, and disabling the system."]]

Celia: [["Yes sir. Stinger 3-2, change of plans, we need to link up with Reaper!"]]

Stinger 3-2: [["Affirmative, blackjack. Stinger 3-3, fall in."]]

Stinger 3-3: [["Solid copy."]]

Celia: [["Isabella, we're coming in! Clear the LZ!"]]

Isabella: [["Consider it done!"]]

Within moments Blackjack has successfully fast-roped on top of Reaper's current position at the LZ. Stinger 3-2 and 3-3 left the air space to refuel.

Marcus: "Taylor, have the task groups find a way to disable the systems. I will update you if we find anything."

Col. Taylor: [["Roger that."]]

Third Person P.O.V.

The firefights on the ship continue as Blackjack fast-rope onto the LZ. Celia touches down last from her helicopter and immediately rushes to cover beside Isabella.

Celia: "Hello Girls~!"

Isabella: "Did you like the view from the sky?"
