(I don't know how to call that story.)

When May got up this morning she knew something was wrong. She felt dizzy and the beer she drunk yesterday just went upside down. Her head hurt and her body aged. But she also knew today was an important mission. So she kept from everyone that she felt sick.

Daisy looked around.
There were so many people walking and they couldn't see anything. Coulson standing next to her and Fitz with May felt the same way.
"We need a distraction." May suddenly grabbed her head in pain. But the others didn't notice. Only when she fell over next to them did Coulson startle. He was able to catch her in time and put her on the ground. All the people turned to them. "Well that's a distraction. Thanks May." Daisy started to run but Coulson grabbed her arm. "Daisy. That's not a distraction." Coulson knelt down next to May and touched her cheek. Daisy looked at him startled. "What?" "May passed out." He picked her up. But then hurriedly grabbed it in his pocket.
"Abort Mission. Agent May is down. Repeat, abort mission Agent May is down."

When May woke up her skull hurt and she felt half dead.
She was lying on her bed in the bunker and Jemma was sitting next to her. "How are you feeling?" "You gave me pain killers." She held her face but quickly realized how warm she was.
"I told you already I don't want painkillers." "No discussion. I also told you to tell me when you feel sick." "I didn't felt bad I was just dizzy and I almost threw up. Damn it-"
May held her forehead again and groaned. "What the hell is wrong with me." "You're sick. Very much. And you'll stay in bed for now." "We had a mission. I can't lie here." "The mission has been aborted." "But-" May tried to sit up but her face twisted in pain. "Lay down." "No.."
"Stay down Agent May."
It wasn't Jemma this time.
A person stood in the doorway and looked at May seriously. Coulson.
"How are you feeling?" "Like someone throw me out of the bus. Did you throw me out of the bus?" He came into the room and sat on the edge of May's bed. "You need help Jemma?" "Yes. Could you hold May that she sits while she takes her medicine. She is still to weak to sit." "I'll probably be able to sit myself." May tried to sit up by herself, but quickly realized that she really was too weak.
"I have a better idea." Surprised, Jemma watched as Coulson picked May up and sat behind her, leaning her against his body. Jemma just stared at Coulson. "Are you going to stare all the time or do something?" "Yes...Right! Sorry sir!"
May took the medicines that Jemma gave her, albeit involuntarily, she had no choice. When Coulson got up, she felt cold and alone again.
Jemma was still talking to him, but May could only understand some sentences of the conversation. Her head hurt and she closed her eyes.

When Jemma left the room, Coulson sat down next to May on the bed. Assuming she was asleep, he stroked her forehead. "You really scared me today. But you'll feel better soon." May smiled. "I didn't want to scare you." Coulson pulled his hand away. "Sorry, I thought you was alseep."
They looked at each other for a long time, but May closed her eyes when she noticed how tired she was.
"Please stay." "I had no intention of leaving you here alone." He grabbed the blanket and carefully covered her up.
"Are you afraid to get sick?" Coulson looked at her confused. "No?" "Can you do it again then? Sitting behind me and holding me?" "Of course."
So he picked her up again and sat down behind her. As soon as he was seated, May leaned her head back. She sighed and closed her eyes.
"The painkillers change me. "They don't change you. They help you." "But I'm turning soft." "You're perfect in every way." "Even after Bahrain?" "Melinda." "Andrew left me." "Melinda stop." "But you didn' t." Coulson paused. "You didn't left me. I just shut you out but you kept trying to break the wall." She moved a little closer to him. "Thank you." "No need to thank me. That's why Friends exist." May scoffed and looked a little up to him. "Friends?" "Best Friends?" "We've been more than just friends for a long time."
May felt Coulson's body tense behind her. "And you know that. Or we wouldn't sit like that here. Even the team sees that. And Daisy making bets with Mack." "I was afraid of this conversation." May laughed a little.
There was silence for quite a while until Coulson wrapped his arms around her to hug her. "But I think it's time."
The medication slowly started to take effect on May and she closed her eyes again. She feels his breath on the back of her neck as he leans forward and whispers the three words she had always hoped to hear.
"I love you."
May smiled wide and snuggled even closer to him. "I love you too."
Gently he kissed her head and brushed a strand of hair out of her face. "How can I be sure it's not the Painkillers talking." "You can't, you just have to belive it. Now shut up I wanna sleep." "Yes ma'am."

This is another try from me of writing a story on vacation.
I tell you. My father got sick, the beds are very uncomfortable and I can't sleep before 1am. There are blood suckers in my room and other insects. My little brother is a mood killer and there are so many kids outside screaming and crying. UGH.
Lets see if it gonna be a bit better in the next days-

See y'all
