Project.

The next morning Will was so glad it was a Saturday, he was so tired. Will remembered the project.

He wanted to go back to sleep but knew he should probably get up. he saw the piece of paper with Boris's number on his nightstand.

He got out of bed almost falling. He got ready for the day then called Boris.

“Hello” A groggy voice greeted him “Hi? Is that you William?” Will smiled.

“Yeah it's me” Will had a pep to his step today “Alright. Is this a about project?”

Will heard Boris yawn “Uh yeah are you free today?” Will heard some movement on the other side.

“Yes, your house or mine?” Will probably wouldn't get permission to go to Boris's.

“Mine preferably” Will should tell his mom as soon as Boris says yes if he does.

“Alright what is address? I be there fast” Will looked around his room, he had it on a paper somewhere.

He grabbed the paper that had it then told Boris his address “Alright I'll be there soon”

Will almost tripped on his carpet “Do want breakfast when you get here?” Boris gave him a simple sure then hung up.

He put the phone down then went downstairs to talk to his mom about Boris coming over.

“Hey mom Boris is coming over for the project” Joyce was in the middle of making breakfast.

“Oh! Does he want breakfast?” Will nodded “Alright” Will went back upstairs.

Around 15 minutes later Boris showed up. Will gave him a quick tour of the house.

“Nice house, is your mom rich?” Will shook his head “No. It's a very long story”

Boris was confused but minded his own business. Will opened the door to his room.

“Welcome to my room, touch absolutely nothing” Boris looked at Wills drawing desk.

“Do not want me to get anything dirty, I get it” Will couldn't tell if Boris was joking or not.

“Nah, a lot of that just has personal value” Boris nodded “What do you draw?”

Will sat on his bed “Mostly people and scenery” Boris joined Will on his bed “Can you draw me?”

Will smiled “Maybe” Will tried to get back into focus “Can we start working on the project?” Boris nodded.

About 10 minutes later Joyce calls them down for breakfast. Boris and will make their way down.

“There's breakfast I have to go to work I'll meet you sometime later Boris”

Joyce rushed out the door leaving the rest of the Byers + Boris sitting there awkwardly.

Will and Boris ate their food quickly then went back to Wills room. They continued working on the project until it was done.

“Are we finished?” Will nodded “Yep that's all we had to do” Boris smiles “Not so bad” Will nods and smiles.

“Do you want me to leave now that we're done?” Will shrugged “If you want, otherwise we could do something?”

Boris nodded “What would we do?” Will shrugged “My family has a big movie collection?”

Boris nodded “Sounds fun” Will smiled then he and Boris got up and went to Wills living room.

He showed Boris his movie collection. Boris looked at the collection “You can choose” Will smiled.

“Have you ever watched Ghostbusters?” Boris shook his head “It's awesome let's watch it!”

Boris smiled at Wills enthusiasm “Alright солодкий хлопець” Will had no idea what Boris was saying but smiled at him anyway.

Will put on the movie. He and Boris sat on the couch.

A few minutes into the movie they saw Jonathan leave. He said goodbye and they thought nothing of it.

Halfway into the movie Will just randomly thought about the old party and started crying.

Boris moved closer to Will to comfort him “Are you okay what's wrong?” Will tried to stop crying.

“I'm so sorry. You can leave if this made you uncomfortable” Boris shook his head.

“I'm not leaving until I know you're alright” Will smiled a little bit “I'm sorry I just remembered a stupid Halloween with my friends from before I moved. We were dressed as the Ghostbusters”

Boris smiled “Do you miss them?” Will shrugged “They kinda turned into assholes the summer before I left so it's hard to”

Boris nodded “I know the feeling. Missing someone but also not wanting to”

Will smiled “Yeah it really sucks” Boris smiled “You can say that again”

Will laughed a little bit “Thanks for comforting me” Boris smiled “What are friends for?”

Will smiled at Boris calling them friends. Will snapped back into reality.

“I'm so sorry I totally ruined the mood!” Boris shook his head “We all feel like that sometimes”

The moment reminded Will of that Halloween night with him and Mike. It made him appreciate Boris more.

Will was happy to find someone who he could relate to. “Do you want to go listen to music in my room?”

Boris nodded. Will turned the TV off then he and Boris went to his room.

Will put on some music then sat on his bed. Boris sat next to him “Can you draw me?”

Will thought about it “Sure, let me get my stuff” Will got some stuff from his desk then sat back down on his bed.

“Give me a pose” Boris tried to do an easy pose to draw. Will immediately started working.

About 30 minutes later he was done. He did his finishing touches then showed it to Boris.

“This is amazing! Do you mind if I keep it?” Will smiled “Not at all, it's yours to keep”

Boris smiled. He looked at Wills alarm clock then frowned “I have to go but can I come by tomorrow?”

Will nodded “You can come by anytime” Boris smiled “Bye see you tomorrow солодкий хлопець” Will waved Boris off and he went home.
