Chapter 34- The last weekend

It was the last weekend before school starts and before Val leaves to New York.

Rocki: "we need to do something before we go back to school"

Val: "yes! Like a party"

Rocki: "YES! We should have a party on the rooftop"

Jackson: *Overhears them* "oh yeah! A party sounds awesome"

Ramona; "A party... but there won't be drinks.... Right? Like those kinds of drinks..."

Rocki: "uh duh, what kind of party doesn't have those kind of drinks"

Val: "Don't worry Ramona, you don't have to drink"

Jackson: "Yeah babe, but maybe.... You could, since we go back to school on Tuesday"

Ramona: "peer pressure once again... I'll think about it...." *She doesn't want to, but maybe she'll have one*

Jackson: "So, when should we do the party?"

Rocki: "Tonight, I'll call some friends."

Val: "I leave back to New York on Monday"

Rocki: "Will you come back?"

Val: "I'm not sure. Idk what my mom has in mind, I rarely see her"

Jackson: "it would be cool if you stayed here"

Ramona: "Yeah, we're gonna miss you"

Val; "ima miss y'all too. Also, I think my dad's coming home too"

Rocki: "Wow, well I'm here in my own place. Couldn't stand being with my mom"

Jackson: "I'm fine with mine, but now that I'm older, I do need space"

Ramona; "I'm fine with going back to our old house"

Rocki: "oh come on, live a little. You can't be stuck under your parents shadow all the time"

Ramona: *looks down and sighs* "Yeahh... I guess"

Jackson: "it's okay Ramona, I'm here with you" *He puts an arm around her*

Val: "Yeah Ramona, it's okay" *She smiles at her*

Ramona smiles softly.

Rocki: "okay.... Let's go to the store and buy our stuff"

Jackson: "how are we going to buy the 'good stuff'?"

Rocki: "I know a guy"

The kids all get ready and go to the parking garage.

Jackson: "who's driving?"

Val: "I'll do it, I have my license" *She gets in the drivers seat*

Rocki sits in the passenger's seat. She puts the GPS to the store. Jackson and Ramona sit in the back.

Jackson; "is this your car Rocki?"

Rocki: "Yup! I begged my parents to buy it for me and they did, now I just gotta drive places"

Ramona; "Don't you need your license first?"

Rocki: "Anyone can drive"

Jackson: "I drove"

Rocki: "yeah... I'm not letting you drive my car"

They arrive at the store, buy all the things they need. Rocki calls the guy to buy them drinks.

Rocki: "okay so I called the guy, he'll come by later to drop of the rest"

The teens get home and parks in the parking garage, they take the stuff inside their apartment, they get stuff ready for the party on the rooftop.
