It is like no other drug,
a doctor can not prescribe it
you can not find it
where other medicines lay.
It can heal you instantly,
or it can take multiple hours
for it to take affect.
Healing your heart,
healing the inside scars.
Music is an escape,
your feelings poured out
inside of a song.
Music touches your soul,
healing you in places
no one knew you were damaged.
Music is like no other drug,
you are the doctor,
you have to prescribe
a genre that tells how
all the inside wounds will heal again.
