A brother? No
You are much less.
A brother sticks up for family
A brother is not a bully
A brother attends important events.
You claim you're my "family",
You claim that I matter.
"Go kill yourself, no one will care"
Did I matter when you spit out those words?
Did I matter when you didn't attend my graduation?
Apparently not.
I shouldn't have to feel insecure
I shouldn't feel threatened by you,
But I do.
I thought when I left my home town
I got rid of all the bullies.
It turns out my biggest bully
Was riding shotgun in a moving van.
You can say sorry
You can apologize,
I will never forget your hateful words.
"Piggy, fat ass, beached whale"
"Crippled, worthless, bitch"
If you were such a brother,
You would have never said those things to me.
My wrists may not work like yours,
But at least I have a heart.
